SONGMICS 13 Gallon (50 L) Trash Can, Stainless Steel Kitchen Garbage Can, Recycling or Waste Bin, Soft Close, Step-On Pedal, Removable Inner Bucket, Sand Beige ULTB050A01

So far this is a very good kitchen trash can. Between the steel exterior and the plastic liner can, I believe it's very sturdy. I am concerned about the plastic pedal on the floor, that is pressed to open the can because it is plastic. I hope that part lasts. I believe if it were a thicker, more durable plastic, that was covered with shiny metal, then the metal would help keep the plastic part of the pedal from breaking. But the pedal has not broken for us. If that changes then I'll change my review. But for now, it seems to be a durable can that's well made and is also quite pretty! The price is fair to middle. I was hoping for a little lower price, but then maybe the pretty blue costs more - it's a designer look. It's quite easy to use and the capacity is very good.Others complained about the gift bags that were included. I don't see how it will cause a problem when switching to any 13 gallon size bag. It's exactly the same size as regular 13 gallon bags you get from the grocery store. My step son put a bigger bag in it... It didn't look nice, but it stayed up and collected trash, so that worked for me. But I have 13 gallon bags and we'll use them from now on. I didn't have to purchase special bags for this trash can. It's pretty and I believe it's made well. The lid keeps my Labrador from getting into the trash and that's practical... It's a mix of practical and a pop of pretty navy or dark blue. I'd personally like a shiny surface because it doesn't show dirt easily. But the flat blue (no shine) is very attractive.

Really nice trash can. The matte black finish is easy to wipe down. It's sturdy and fits nicely into the corner of my kitchen. The pedal/lid has a smooth and quiet open-and-close function. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good trashcan these days; I looked in stores for weeks without finding one I was happy with. This one is excellent. Would definitely buy again.

So far, we're loving this stylish little trash can. I say "little" because is has a smaller footprint than our previous battery operated one. It's also a great color for our kitchen. Time will tell whether it holds up, but as it's all mechanical and not reliant on batteries, we're hoping for the best. The lid is soft close, which we like a lot, and the stop to open process seems sturdy enough. Right now, we would definitely recommend it.

Excelente me encantó10/10

I’m so thrilled with this SONGMICS step trash can. It is incredibly well-made and looks absolutely great in my kitchen. The beautiful brown finish gives it a sleek, premium look that blends perfectly with my decor rather than sticking out like an eyesore. The foot pedal mechanism is smooth and sturdy, and the entire build feels durable and high-quality. If you are looking for a functional kitchen bin that actually elevates the look of your space, I highly recommend this one!
