Concealer Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Full Coverage 00 Ivory

Bought the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye Concealer for my partner after she mentioned she wanted to try it and she absolutely loves it. She said it covers her dark circles really well and makes her under eyes look brighter and less tired, but doesn't look cakey or settle into fine lines. She likes the sponge applicator - said it's easy to blend and gives a really natural finish. She wears it every day for work and says it lasts all day without creasing too much. She's got quite sensitive skin and had no irritation with it either. She told me she's tried a lot of more expensive ones and this is better than most. For the price I thought it was great value. Very happy - will be re-buying for her when she runs out.

Love love love this concealer. I use a range of this concealer and have been using them for a long time. Buff is as close to my skin shade as I can get. Works like a charm over colour corrector or mixed with colour colour corrector. I use it anywhere I want extra coverage. A little goes a long way. Although having said that, I have at times used it all over my face and neck then put on foundation and when I do this I find that although I use primer beforehand, my set makeup does not require touching up for shine hour my very long 13hr shifts and the only thing I do touch up is my lips now and again. I use buff number 8 as my skin matching concealer and then I use number 7 to Brighton my undereyes and contour my nose and chin and forehead after applying my foundation. My make looks smooth, skin looks hydrated without cracking. It is great value for money which is just as well as I do go through so much of it and is just the right amount of thickness to give the right amount of coverage. Given that it comes in many colours I also use the darker shades again for contouring. This formula is perfect for my skin type and i wouldn’t be without it.

Nice creamy texture that glides on smoothly and doesn’t crease. A good range of shades and the ones I have chosen match my skin tone well. Although it does the job, it seems to wear off relatively quickly and benefits from fixing with a spray or powder. Pleased with it at the price, though.

Lovely concealer by Maybelline! I use this all the time and am really impressed with it. It provides great coverage and covers my dark circles really well. It goes on smoothly with a lovely creamy texture and doesn’t settle into the wrinkles on my face, leaving a nice, smooth finish. The colour is great, the texture is lovely, and overall it’s a really good concealer that I’m very happy with. Excellent value and a product I would happily buy again. Great postage and packaging too. Highly recommended — you won’t be disappointed!

Requires careful blending to avoid looking slightly cakey. Overall: 3/5 I found this concealer somewhat disappointing. The coverage is reasonable, but the texture feels thicker than I expected and doesn't give the lightweight finish I was looking for. …and I’ve tried all kinds, from budget to premium brands, even ‘made to measure’ individually colour matched versions but most are too chalky, too orange or the texture is either too drying or too greasy. I think the key thing with this Maybelline on is the sponge applicator which allows you to apply the lightest layer, or build more if you need it. I find it good for under eye shadows and also to conceal a couple of little red veins, and it’s so easy just to dab on, needs little blending, seems moisturising but not greasy and doesn’t seem to settle into lines and creases like many other brands. As this is an Amazon review, I’d recommend that you visit a physical shop with product testers to find your ideal shade, before buying online … I usually have two shades, 01 for the winter months and 07 for the summer and holidays when I have a tan, and at such reasonable prices it’s very affordable to do this, also have two of each on the go, one in the bathroom and one in my handbag. The genius packaging may not look as smart in your makeup bag as some of the premium brands like YSL but the built in applicator works well and it’s easy to see when it’s running out. Maybe if I was prepared to spend more time with fiddling with separate makeup sponges I’d have had more success with other brands but I usually end up with barely 5 minutes to apply makeup and don’t have time (or the space) for multiple products and special applicators, plus this is easy to pop into the smallest bag for touch ups on the go. Something I’ve bought again and again after discovering it a few years ago, wouldn’t be without this.

Love this product! As someone with pale skin, those dark circles often look horrific but this concealer is fantastic for easing the darkness. Have used these for years in various colours.
