I bought this for my boys who both love Sonic. At the start, the rules are a bit overwhelming and kinda complicated, but after 3 or 4 rounds you really begin to get the hang of it. Getting my boys to be focused enough to endure that part was the hardest, but they eventually found enjoyment and requested the game daily. Below are their reviews for the game which I will leave unaltered. Canon, 10 - It was a fun, competitive card game with sonic characters across the franchise Kingston, 8 - It is a fun,creative,sonic card game with powers and 4 modes. battle,race and hunt. And the cards are good for learning new characters.

Fun game with 3 playstyles that capture the modes available in "Sonic Adventure 2 Battle" The modes are short and sweet and will not overstay their welcome, all while giving a decent amount of depth to strategy and the best part of this well rounded game is its super quick to learn! I couldn't believe how fast I got the premise for it all, this game is truely a great pickup and go board game for the low price.
