As a parent who’s very conscious about ingredients and skin safety, I’m always on the lookout for products that are both effective and non-toxic. These SmartyPants Pull Up Style Diapers have genuinely impressed me. First off, the EWG Verified label is what caught my eye — it’s rare to find pull-ups that meet those clean standards. Once they arrived, I could immediately tell the difference: the material feels softer and more breathable than most brands we’ve tried. My toddler has very sensitive skin, and after switching to these, we’ve had zero irritation or redness. The quilted 360° waistband is a game-changer. It fits snugly without being too tight, so it moves with my little one through all the running, climbing, and dancing. We haven’t had a single leak overnight (which is saying a lot after testing other “eco-friendly” brands that couldn’t make it through). I also love that the pull-up design makes potty training easier — my toddler feels more independent pulling them up and down, and the side tear-away seams are convenient for quick changes. Overall, these diapers hit every mark: safe ingredients, comfortable fit, great absorbency, and a company that clearly cares about both babies and the planet. Mixed feelings but love them?! Let me start by saying, I love Heathy Baby brand! Their commitment to non-toxic ingredients and eco-friendliness is the highest standard, so of course I’d want nothing less for my baby. We started using their regular diapers when my son was born, but had to stop when he was a few months old and rolling/wiggling lots since the regular diapers don’t have scrunchy/elastic-y area on the back and he needed a snugger fit. Now that he’s older (8 months, size 4 diapers) we were THRILLED to start using Healthy Baby again and try out Smarty Pants! They were a dream to put on, as my baby rolls around during diaper changes - pulling them on instead of dealing with tabs was a breeze. They even have a little sticky tab so you can roll them up and keep the mess contained after use. They’re ultra absorbent, ultra soft, and tear away at the sides when ready to remove which is amazing! No leaks, even after a full nights sleep and diaper felt dry to the touch. The only thing that wasn’t amazing is they are a bit narrow and I’m a little afraid for what #2’s will be like, as his little booty cheeks are sticking out a bit on the sides and the waist is a bit too small/tight for him. He’s only 8 months and 23 pounds, so technically the 4 should have fit. The size 5 is for 27lbs and up, but I’m interested in buying the 5 to see if it works so we can keep using these amazing crawl/proof, squirm proof, mama friendly diaper pants!!

These are the only diapers on the market that are EWG Verified- the absolute strictest standards for safety. Some natural diapers have a reputation for not being strong enough but we have never had a leak in these so they more than do the job! These arent that much more than typical diaper brands that are full of chemicals, test on animals, and dont care about the health of anybody. These are so stretchy and soft - you will not be disappointed in these!

I'm trying to find a fully functioning pull up style diaper for my wiggly 1 year old that isn't potty training yet, and I dont want to go huggies or pampers, but after these I might have to cave. Mind you I purchased size 4 and size 5 just to be sure it wasn't a size issue. Our first experience with size 4 is that they fit the best out of the 2, especially around the legs. However, my LO was literally cranky and crying and hurting from the ridiculously tight for no reason waistband. She was literally CRYING FROM PAIN. please explain to me why they have to be that tight. No other pull up we have tried (and we've tried everything) is that tight. Then we move on to size 5. The waist band was less tight, but still tight and the leg holes are just gaping open. Not to mention overnight they were saturated to the gills and she was wet. As far as size goes, I would understand if I had a super chunky baby, but my LO is 40Th in weight and 85th in height. She is a tall skinny girl. I dont know what babes are wearing these comfortably, and I feel like I wasted my money just to torture my toddler for a bit. Disappointing

I love these diapers! We have always used pampers although I wish they didn’t have the fragrances and chemicals. These are a really good, clean, absorbent pull up diaper! They aren’t ridiculously priced like some other clean diapers are. We have not had any leaks even with heavy overnight wetness. They don’t have a smell. The size runs small and that is the only reason for 4 stars. I felt like I was putting shapewear on my 23 pound baby with size 4! They are okay but I just ordered the next size up hoping for a little more tummy room! I will continue to buy as long as the 5’s aren’t also baby shapewear. :) but the elastic in the waistband is really good, you can’t even stretch it out to make it loose. Update: the 5’s fit great. They come up high on the belly but that’s okay, they aren’t too tight! My LO is in size 18m for reference, she is not very big and only 23lbs.

After trying literally every tcf diaper there is & experiencing blowout after blowout with every one of them, words cannot describe how grateful I am to have found this brand. First & foremost I feel that my baby is the safest possible from chemicals being the only EWG. Secondly, I have had zero blowouts. I NEVER THOUGHT THAT WAS POSSIBLE!!! Thank you for saving me hours upon hours scrubbing poo stains out of my baby’s clothes. I’ve been using these for a couple months now so there’s been plenty of time to test them out. 10 of 10

I love the intention behind making these diapers. They look great! However: SIZE: They run small compared to other diapers. At the time of writing this review, my baby can comfortably wear a size 4 diaper based on her height and weight, but I get her size 5 diapers for the added volume. Even the size 5 was tight on her. SMELL: My biggest issue is that they reeked of chemical. I am not sure if this was an issue with the make itself, or with the storage/shipping/handling but i had to throw them out. NOT EASY TO TEAR OFF: The side stitches look great but they don't tear off well. You need to be mindful when you try to take it off as you may accidentally press on your baby’s skin and hurt them. I have seen other companies implement this successfully, not sure if this is due to the materials used in making these diapers.

Normally we love healthy baby regular diapers but baby has recently started moving around so much that the diaper moves and starting to cause leaks. We opted to buy a “pull up style” diaper. I was excited to try these since we love the original diapers so much. For reference my baby is 18 lbs. I bought the size 4 thinking we have room to grow in them since they’re advertised for 20-30 lbs. The waistline is super tight and cheaply made. You can feel the individual strings cutting into the skin. I would not buy these again.
