RING Rechargeable Slim LED Pocket Inspection Lamp With 3 Light Levels - Multi-Angled & Rechargeable

Bought the RING Rechargeable Slim LED Pocket Inspection Lamp for my nephew so he can do “stuff” in the garden after dark — mainly den building, exploring, and whatever else kids class as important operations. It’s a great little light. Slim, easy to hold, and bright enough to properly light up a den without blinding everyone in the process. The three light levels are handy — low for general tinkering, higher when something “very important” needs investigating. Rechargeable is a big win too. No endless hunt for spare batteries every time inspiration strikes at 8pm. Feels sturdy, well-made, and up to the task of being dropped, pocketed, and generally put through its paces. Five stars. Excellent little gadget for evening adventures and garden engineering projects.

Excellent inspection lamp, I use it as an electrician mainly when changing fuse boards so no power is available. It gives a true to-colour light and can illuminate a large area in flood mode. I find I only need low power when working in confined spaces and so far I have had 4+ hours of use and it still shows a good charge left. Feels solidly built and has survived one drop so far. Not as compact as some units, you won't want to carry it in a pocket but if that's a problem then there are other models by ring but they don't last as long. Easy to use and I would say about the average price for a commercial/professional grade piece of kit.

Now this is a ridiculously bright light 💡 Yes it’s very easy to use the one button on the back which you hold down to turn on and scroll the wheel to increase brightness up to 1000lm which is crazy. Magnet strength could be better and stronger as it can’t hold the weigh landscape but there we are Battery life is decent lasting 2 and 1/2 hours on full brightness Value for money very good as your getting a 1000 lm inspection torch for £30 The Functionality does what it says on the tin. The only floor I say I have with this product is that how chunky the handle is but some people may like that I’m just not the greatest fan personally

I like this lamp a lot, but it broke on me. It folds closed, so you can switch it on without being blinded, then reduce the intensity and unfold it. You can also switch the light to a point light from the tip. Unfortunately, the plastic clip snapped off 1 day after the return window closed. Since one is likely to be taking this in and out of a pocket, it's a clear weakness. The next version needs a metal clip.
