Nice game
Exactly as described. Checker pieces are on the small side but useable. Board is thicker than I thought it would be after reading some reviews.

Checker pieces don't lock.
The board on this game is very sturdy and folds in half. The checker pieces have groves but need to be deeper because they don't lock together when you want to make a king so it is difficult to keep them together when you want to move the two together . The box isn't very sturdy: very thin.

It's a cheap playing board but okay for the price. My friends Drew and Matt beat me most of the time but I'll get better at checkers.

The classic checkers the way I remember
I can’t say anything negative about this set. The board is sturdy. The pieces are nice and sturdy and fit together well for when you king them. This is exactly what a checkers set should look like and perfect for teaching children the game or for casual fun.
