I started using this supplement 3 years ago after a recommendation from a store clerk. It's hard to explain how I was feeling at the time. Agitated, quick to anger and overwhelmed feelings. Before starting any pharmaceutical medications I purchased the supplement and consulted my doctor prior to starting. She said to try it and if I didn't see results within 1 month to return and she had some prescription meds in mind, but all had some not so great possible side effects. Needless to say, I felt so different after 1 week of taking 2 capsules a day. Not only was I less agitated, I had a pep in my step that I did not have for a long time! Fast forward 3 years, I now take one capsule at the same time daily in the morning, non fail. That is all I need to keep that same feeling I had that first week. It has even helped me lose some weight. Nothing major, but I maintain and do not gain. For a while I was gaining year over year. People talk about the price, but honestly it's nothing compared to what we spend on other things, coffee, services and eating out, the list goes on. If Amazon is ever out (it happens) I get it from the original store that recommended it 3 years ago. It's quite a bit more there, but I feel I owe them my sanity! Great quality product that is hard to find at the local natural food stores so I always end up buying it online. For such a great product you would think the stores would carry it but no luck. I highly recommend this product for anyone who suffers from mood swings, depression, and wants to lose weight. I have used it for a couple years now and will continue to use it as it works beautifully for me. It does not have all the side effects as the drugs the doctors prescribe, and I feel safe taking it. Also don't expect instant results as this works into a nice balanced effect. Thank you

I have only been taking this for a couple of weeks at night and they work well. I used to take 5-HTP years ago, but I forget how much it does help lift your mood. Relora is excellent for chilling your anxieties. It is helping me sleep better and have better mood throughout the day, but it is expensive and I would prefer a little more 5-HTP so I will probably purchase Relora and 5-HTP separately when I run out.

I ordered these for my wife and I to help us deal with some of the anxiety, stress, and depression related to the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home order. My wife has diagnosed depression but does not take medication for it any longer. She took these a few times, and immediately stopped taking them saying that they made her feel very low, depressed, and generally unhappy - The exact opposite of what they are intended to do. I continued taking them for over a month. I realized that slowly over time, I was feeling even more stressed out and depressed. My thoughts were becoming negative, and I was feeling more and more hopeless. When I ran out of these pills, I decided not to order any more just to see what happened. Immediately, my mood began to improve. I have not taken them out for several weeks, and I feel much less stressed, anxious, and depressed, than I did before. If you decide to try these, pay close attention to how they are making you feel. It’s very possible that these, for whatever reason, do the exact opposite of what they are intended to. Beware

Hooray sleep, I suffer from depression and at night I can't get to sleep. I don't know about the weightloss part I haven't really been very active, so I haven't noticed any weightloss yet but it really helps with mood and sleep. No side effects and I feel relaxed, not craving crappy food and at night I sleep all through. I mean a big difference I normally get anxiety during the PM hours, I'm nervous, can't relax and will get up as much as 5-7 times. I'm normal again.
