I liked that the coarse thread cap fit onto my ancient Midwest Can Company 1 gallon can. What I don’t like is the extra long beak of a spout. Kind of clumsy to pour into a mower gas tank. But the best part is it was inexpensive, the supplier mentions Midwest with dimensions in their write up AND IT DOESN’T LEAK! However, the spout cap strap broke on the first twist of the cap.

Sunlight sure fades and degrades the little cap so keep out of the sun for long times or cover. Man, these are great to beat the BS safety ones. Came with 2 different threads. Im guessing they can fit any basic tank with one of them. The little caps are threaded and work great but lanyard breaks if in the sun. I have not tried to instal the air cap yet but Make the hole smaller than you think because you can always hog out more plastic. A step drill bit may be a good way to drill the hole. You will get plastic in the tanks so plan ahead with an empty tank. Take the opportunity to clean that thing out during the process and start with a nice clean tank! I'll probably buy more. Cheap enough!

These fit my new gas cans perfectly! I hate those new lids. They always leak and are hard the get working. Very satisfied with my order!

It works as designed. But there is no stopper plug at the base so that you can store the spout inverted inside the can. In that sense, it is a poor design. Having the little cap cover on the end is a “nice” feature, but it forces you to leave the spout upright and pointing outside the gas can. Not great for storage - Especially if gas can is used only occasionally (like for my snowblower).

WARNING- THIS PRODUCT IS VERY DANGERIOUS. I had a older version of this product which worked fine. However, on the ones I bought recently, the quality has gone way downhill, or there is some serious defect in manufacturing. The plastic flange that holds the spout inside the "cap" (that screws onto the can) is way too small (diameter), and made of much too thin plastic. With only normal working pressure on the spout, the spout pulled out of the cap twice, once on BOTH of the nozzles in this kit. Gas spilled all over, although I was lucky, that both times my engine was cold, and in any case the gas missed the engine. Had the engine been hot, or the spill occur slightly sooner, there would have been a large fire, with me leaning over it. This product is highly defective and needs to be pull ASAP before someone gets seriously hurt.

This is awesome as it replaced the original spout that had disintegrated, the fit was perfect! Glad I was able to restore the old gas can that I nearly thrown away until I saw this product was available. Functionality is superb and installation was easy to figure out without instructions.

i bought some cans with ridiculously complicated nozzles requring pushing a red lever in while shoving the nozzle into a car gas tank with ludicrous amounts of presssure. what if your filling a smaller gas can? or a lawn mower tank? or a generator tank? then the nozzles that came with the cans are competley utterly unusable and useless. These nozzles work perfectly to replace the badly designed nozzles. They came with 2 different threaded lids to attach the nozzle to the cans that i bought elsehwere (US made/designed cans by the way but with totally unworkable nozzles). good quality product. not cheap garbage. and 2 for 1 price.
