No, you need to use the Tamiya Polycarbonate PS paint. It is flexible.

does this work on revell and tamiya models?

Yes their primers and all TS and AS sprays work on styrene models.

What type of finish, gloss satin or flat when dry?

Sorry for the late response. This paint, once dried, will give a FLAT finish. hope this helps!!
