Don’t discard your recovery slippers for these
I got these on a recommendation that they were a good “recovery” slipper post run. I was hoping for an advanced flip flop - this is not the shoe you are looking for.(1) SizeThe sizing is straight up off. The bottom of the shoe says “M8/L9/41”. In response to one of the questions, Aussie Soles states that it’s a size 8/42.I’m not a L9 and even I know a L9 is not a 41 or 269mm. Which explains why so many people have to size up. Fortunately, because I know my foot length in mm, the sizing worked for me with no heel overhang by the lip of the heel.(2) ComfortAgain, shoe has a little sticker saying “press for cushion” - except it wasn’t as cushioned as my flip flops. In fact it was fairly hard.(3) PriceIf you want a lighter flip flop type of thing and don’t mind spending £30, here you are. If you’re looking for a recovery slipper, spend a bit more and get the Hoka equivalent, or get some Oofos. As I’m standing a lot in them, I did experience some foot fatigue initially. It’s not cushioned or soft at all, and it might be a bit too hard underfoot for some. I can’t say the arch support felt significant in any way, basically not much different to a flip flop. One thing it is is light.By the way, the image in the ad doesn’t look anything like the real thing, which is overall a plastic, moulded flip flop.Overall I wouldn’t say this was a recovery flop flop by any stretch of the imagination. I put on my Oofo slides and the difference is significant - softer sole, higher arch, and more expensive yes. They are much lighter than flip flops, so if I were travelling I’d take them on that basis alone.Overall it’s okay, but it doesn’t justify the price in my opinion. I have flip flops that are more comfortable and softer. If you’re looking for this shoe to help with a foot ailment, this may not be the shoe you’re looking for.

No cushioning
These were a perfect colour for what I wanted, the fit was great as I'd listened to other reviewers who said to buy a size bigger (you definitely need to because of the contouring) and they were comfortable. However, I suffer from plantar faciitis and I was hoping that the soles would withstand the impact on the ground when walking but they were hard and not cushioned enough. Sadly, I've had to return for this reason alone, otherwise they would have been perfect.
