Crystal-Clear Audio and Incredible Versatility
The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 has completely exceeded my expectations. The noise-cancelling microphone is excellent—my voice comes through crystal clear with no background noise, even during intense gaming sessions. Teammates consistently comment on how clean and natural the mic sounds, which is a huge win. The multiplatform compatibility is what truly makes this headset a game changer. Being able to seamlessly use it across Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and mobile via Bluetooth without juggling multiple headsets is incredibly convenient. The transition between platforms is smooth and hassle-free. Audio quality is immersive and well-balanced, and the battery life is outstanding—I can go days without needing to recharge. Overall, this headset delivers top-tier performance, versatility, and comfort. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality wireless gaming headset that works across multiple platforms, this one is absolutely worth it.

Affordable Excellence
The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 is a work of art. They sound like a pair of Astro A30s on steroids with enhanced low-end capabilities. Right out of the box, they offer an impressive range, surpassing even most supposedly certified high-resolution headphones. These headphones are comfortable, sleek, stylish, and very well made. They don’t look like typical gaming headsets; instead, they resemble a pair of Sony or Bose headphones that you can wear in public without fear of looking out of place. Just compare their visual appeal with Sony’s Inzone series or the latest from Bose if you don’t believe me. The cushions are superior to the breathable ones found on SteelSeries and even Razer’s latest Kaira Pros. While the packaging might be a step down from their usual, you’re getting way more headset for your buck this time around. I tested the headset’s Bluetooth range up to 30 feet with no drops or connection issues, even with walls, doors, and furniture in the way. The wireless dongle had a similar range, maintaining a stable connection throughout. I didn’t test if any advanced Bluetooth formats worked with them, but that’s not what they were purchased for. They were bought to replace a broken set of SteelSeries Nova 7s for my niece. I was shocked by how good they sound because you are getting $230+ level sound for around a hundred bucks. The battery life of the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 is nothing short of impressive. I ran them continuously for 25 hours to test for any degradation, and they are still going strong as I write this review. This is particularly notable given the manufacturer's claimed battery life of 80 hours. When we first got them, they were nearly dead, but they fully charged in just a couple of hours. While your experience may vary, my testing suggests that these headsets are built to last through extended gaming sessions without needing frequent recharges. The top leatherette cushion is far superior to what the Astro A30s or new 50s have. It’s actually on par with or better than the Kaira Pro in terms of overall comfort (and no one can deny Razer Kairas are comfortable), but not quite as comfortable as SteelSeries. However, it’s worth pointing out that these are very adjustable and have little clicks when extending either rail, making it easy to ensure both sides are the same length. The headband’s cushion is plush and well-padded, providing excellent support during long gaming sessions. Finally, the Stealth 600 Gen 3 offers a snug (but not too snug) fit and, unlike nearly all my other headsets (Audeze Maxwell, Astro A30, SteelSeries Nova Pro wired, which are the three I use regularly), they don’t fall off my head when looking down. The only con I can think of is that they don’t allow simultaneous communication or mixing between sources. You have to choose either wireless (dongle) or Bluetooth. I don’t really knock it for that because that feature alone usually drives up the cost, and you likely won’t find it on a headset that costs under $130-150. You can keep two sources connected simultaneously though for quick switching, just not mixing so the advertised features might be a bit misleading. On the flip side, unlike most wireless gaming headsets, you don’t have to purchase an additional accessory for them to work with your PS5, PC, or Switch. This headset works with virtually all devices. The EQ customization can be done via PC or Mobile App. While only five or so bands are available to customize, it’s enough for enthusiasts to get the most out of the headset. Many headsets, like those from SteelSeries, don’t even have a mobile app, so Turtle Beach is competing well with the Astro A30/50. The microphone is superior to what’s offered with any sub-$200 headset, and the AI noise canceling makes them on par with the A50s, though still not quite at Nova Pro level. Note: The low latency is the only reason I would ever suggest or consider the updated Astro A50s. I want to point this out because a lot of folks are sold on that headset and it really just isn’t all that impressive. It allows for lower latency because it uses HDMI pass-through (which also requires an additional ultra high speed HDMI included if you want to use it for more than one device), but it creates quite the cable mess and costs 3.5 times more than this headset! While the A50s sound great (superior to the A30 and Stealth 600 Gen3), they do not compare to the Audeze Maxwell. Therefore, I cannot recommend them. In fact, the new Turtle Beach Gen 3 headsets (500, 600, and Pro) make it difficult to recommend anything else if you’re looking for the best value for your money. I’m very curious to see what the new 700 Gen3s will be like because all they can really add at this point is source mixing, which might be worth the extra cost. **Takeaway:** For $100, this is quite literally one of the best gaming headsets you can buy. The only headsets that might be a little better are the Astro A30s or Nova 7s, both of which either break $200 or are very close to it. Plus, the Novas are notorious for having swivels that don’t appear to be lasting, and the A30s’ only advantages are the mixing (the Nova 7s have mixing too if I’m not mistaken) and the hard case they come with. You might get similar audio from Sony’s Inzone lineup, but it would have to be something above their H5 (H7 or H9), and you’d need to know that wireless functionality wouldn’t be possible with all devices. The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 occupies a unique space and is truly one of the best bang-for-buck gaming headsets under $200.

Great headphones!
These headphones have great audio quality, are super comfortable, the microphone works great, and they have accurate dials for adjusting volume and for letting you hear your own voice! The battery life is incredible, I barely charge them and use them all day! They also switch seamlessly between PC and Xbox, having no issues once so ever!

10/10 recommendations
Currently writing this review while wearing this headset . I’ve had them for so long now I wanna say a year and they are Easily the best headset I have ever had , super long life span and you can plug in and play to charge . Secret bonus the Xbox versions work with PlayStation just flip the switch to usb and put it in the primary back slot of your ps5 and it’ll still work great. Super comfortable I’ve got a huge head so I struggle with headset being comfortable and after a few weeks on the largest size they broke in and are super comfy I don’t sweat in them and the bass / noise cancelation is great . I Will buy the purple ones if my black pair ever breaks.

A great customizable wireless gaming headset, that requires firmware for a good microphone.
This headset is almost perfection. If you're looking for a wireless headset that's easy to use straight out of the box, where you have to do no updating or settings tweaking, then I'd look elsewhere. However, once you go through the updating process, which requires you to have both dongles and Bluetooth connected all at once (use swarm 2 app on phone, not PC) and tweak its settings to your liking, then it's a solid headset. I highly recommend having a PC as well since firmware updates and customization will be much easier with it. Also I believe having either a PC or PS5 is required alongside your Xbox to actually update it (Both dongles connected at once) but I could be wrong. As for the headset itself, it has a firm fit. Comfortable ear pieces. Long battery life. Amazing sound, but where this headset shines in my honest opinion is the crazy amount of customization you can do. It's important to note, the microphone is the weakest part of this headset without a doubt, but you can change how it picks up your voice, dampens outside noises and create custom equalizer presets (or choose from the 4 base presets) to make it so you sound clearer. Unfortunately though, you've got to update it first and the default preset is pretty awful for a headset priced normally at $200. I'd argue the mic is a downgrade from Gen 2 to be honest, but it's salvagable through customization if you have the patience. You can also of course customize the sound with separate custom presets (or choose from the 4 base options) and then switch through those whenever with a tap of a button… Then there's arguably the reason I keep coming back to this headset series, the superhuman hearing mode. Here, with a tap of a button you can amplify background noises to give that audio cue edge. This isn't something I've ever seen before in headsets and it's much appreciated. That and the dual bluetooth connection is a must have. I also appreciate the metal frame, a much needed upgrade from the Gen 2 headset as that one had weak plastic hinges that broke due to an insane clamp force on my big head. Also, switching between dongles is easy, with just a click of a button. Tldr: The mic needs tweaked to sound clear to others, which requires an update that is a somewhat complicated process. Sound quality is amazing, works for gaming and as a casual pair of headphones. Frame is upgraded from previous model to have metal hinges. The customization options through the Swarm 2 app is amazing and overall, it'd get 5 stars if they just made the base mic setting straight out of the box actually sound good. Because it can, but it requires work.

Had rated 1 star, but the Turtle Beach Stealth team did the fixes finally.
Turtle Beach has had a very good reputation many, many years ago, and I was looking for a budget friendly gaming headset. I see this product came out to the market approx April 2024 this year, and that as a promo, Amazon Vine (and possibly other major retailers) working alongside Turtle Beach, gave out this item for free to reviewers to write an honest review. Well, I am NOT one of them but my review IS Honest. I purchased this item reading what I thought were honest reviews. Quite a few reviewers failed to mention that the Firmware Update is Mandatory for this Item to Fully Function, AND that it takes at least an Intermediate to Advanced IT Person to figure out that if you want to use this item on Windows 11, the installation will shut down every time if you don't configure the Setup file for compatibility. ADD to this mess, even if you're lucky to get the software installed, You will then need to use your phone to download the APP to complete the Firmware update! It is a 3 STEP PROCESS THAT TOOK ME 5 HOURS. Whenever I go back to the PC app, the app says device disconnected even when I turn the headphones on. Another glitch right there. ALSO, the USB Transmitter Dongle will be Flashing RED. This does not mean it's not working as it's working for me. It rarely turns Green which is ODD because doesn't Green usually mean GO? Folks this item is not worth the trouble for this price. I am awaiting a reply back from Turtle Beach Customer Service regarding the software installation issue. Other negatives: You have to unscrew and rescrew the band to make the headband piece if you have a larger head size. A small section of the earpiece/faux leather foam came dented and cosmetically i can't get it to get back into shape. the 1 star is for the sound quality and things working out to satisfaction after all was fixed on my end. If it breaks or fails, then Zero. Update as of 8/14/24: It appears that the Support Team fixed quite a number of issues mentioned above. I will update to 3 stars. The PC application is now recognizing when I power on the headset. Audio quality was also upped to 24 bit 48000 Hz as windows default which is not the best but decent. Minor glitch: Once you turn on the headset, you have to go to settings and change the speaker to the headset and vice versa when you want to go back to your PC speakers (Hopefully there will be an update/fix for this soon). The sound (and especially bass) when playing games is far superior than listening to music, so I guess this is the reason they call it a gaming headset lol. Update: Nov 2024: All technical glitches have been resolved to the best of the manufacturer (as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The sound quality remains amazing and most (if not all of above issues have been fixed via firmware updates. I upped this review to 5 stars. I highly recommend this item now.

Amazing Purchase – Highly Recommend!
I bought the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Wireless Gaming Headset on December 25th & it arrived on December 28th — fast delivery & well-packaged. After using it across multiple platforms (Xbox Series and my PS5) I can confidently say this was a fantastic purchase. Comfort & Build: The headset feels solid yet lightweight, with plush ear cushions that stayed comfortable even during long gaming sessions. The materials feel premium and durable. It fit my head and my boyfriends head comfortably. Sound Quality: The 60mm drivers deliver rich, immersive sound with clear highs and deep bass. Games and media audio feel dynamic and full & the music or in-game effects really stand out. Microphone Performance: The AI noise-cancelling mic works exceptionally well. Voice chat is clear, and background noise is effectively reduced, which made team communication effortless. Connectivity & Battery: Setup was straightforward with both Bluetooth and wireless options available. Battery life is excellent — I easily get close to the advertised 80-hour battery life before needing to recharge. Multiplatform Use: I love that it works seamlessly across Xbox & PlayStation.... Switching between devices is simple & reliable. It can also switch to my PC and phone according to the specs I read for the headset. Overall: Fantastic headset for the price with excellent audio quality, comfort, battery life, and mic performance. Highly recommended for gamers who want a versatile and reliable wireless headset.

Decent and worth the price
So far so good. The sound is decent and the app is adequate, if not a bit inconvenient (you have to be in bluetooth mode to use it). The mic is clear and the sound is very crisp. My gripes with it are small and are easily overcome. First there are a lot of buttons and getting used to which ones do what when you can't see them has been more time consuming than I first thought. Another is the dials for volume and adjusting if the game or your chat is more central seem to have limited impact. I have adjusted them to a good level but changing them doesn't ever seem to have the desired effect immediately. Lastly, my old XBOX brand headphones allowed me to listen to the game and my phone at the same time. These do not. You are linked to both but you have to hit a button to switch between the two. It makes sense but I liked the way the XBOX headphone way better. These few niggles aside, they are quite comfortable, sound good and allow me to enjoy gaming with my friends.
