IT FITS my 36” Blackstone from Walmart. Model 2177. I looked through a lot of reviews to see which ones would work with this particular model. A lot of the information was limited. So I wanted to make sure to let everyone know that this cover does work. It makes a great backsplash if you have it up against a wall or on a deck. It stays open with a small retractable pin on the side. I have never put much stock into mounted grill thermometers and this one will be no exception! I doubt that it is accurate or durable, but I haven’t needed to look at it yet. The price is close to being expensive, but it is well worth it. Installation was easy, one person can do it in 20 mins. The brackets are heavy weight and do work with side mounted shelves. When I bought my Blackstone, I was shocked that the lid was not hinged and attached to the frame. It seemed cheap and something that they should consider changing. For their cost to include it, a hinged cover would add so much value. Without it, I was annoyed and felt like I would explore alternative brands if I would have noticed that before I bought it. The lift-off cover that came with it is supposed to HANG off the back where it needlessly takes up space, requires you to lean over the grill to hang it, and can cause you to accidentally knocking the grease trap off the back. All in all, this is a perfect cover for the Blackstone and the FIRST upgrade I’d recommend.

This has been an amazing addition to my Blackstone. I had no issues with it being bent, warped or damaged on arrival. It was packaged well. I read so many reviews about the above issues. I'm going to say those that had this issue, might want to talk to their delivery service. I'm going to guess they didn't handle the package to the best of their ability. Super easy to install. Had it on in about 15 minutes. I opted to skip putting on the handle first and did it after it was installed. It would have easier if I had installed it first, but still not that big of a hassle. It came with 3 small self-tapping sheet metal screws and I have no idea why. There is absolutely nothing in the instructions for their use. No fitment issues. Looks like it came with the griddle straight from the factory. It does have a safety feature that keeps the lid from being blown or knocked over and slamming shut on you. If I had one knock on the entire assembly it would be that this safety pin doesn't automatically lock into place when you lift the lid. You have to remember to pull the pin to lift the lid all the way up and I keep forgetting about it. Eventually I will get used to it, but I wish it was designed to automatically go into place when lid is lifted. I also believe this pin is the weakest point of the whole unit. I think it will be fine under normal use, but if any unusual force like a blast of wind or if something fell into it, that it would bend or break. Not enough to knock the rating down.

I bought this for my two burner Blackstone. The installation was easy enough. The pin for holding the lid open isn't the best since you have to pull it every time you want to open or close the lid. I'll probably remove it completely because of this. Overall pleased with the look and installation. Not bad. Works great!
