I've not used it yet but it seems to fit the bill just fine.

Works like described, bit sharp edges, nothing a tiny bit of sandpaper couldn't fix.

If you have forks that are smaller than the designed diameter of this, like my kawasaki vulcan s650's which are 41mm, then this will still work. All you have to do is make sure you're keeping the scooping edge from riding up but you don't need to press down hard. gently does it. A gentle firm press down toward the seal and the hook/scoop will go straight in. do one full turn and then remove. you should see some gunk on the hook. clean it off and then do one more turn. there should be hardly anything left to remove. clean off any residue from the dust seal with a small amount of suitable rubber lubricant.

Great item, that was way cheaper than 'known' brands and did a perfect job of cleaning some really dirty seals.

Not used yet - lives on my motorbike in case I ever get a leaking fork seal on the road.

I noticed some gunk on my motorcycle forks and before having the seals changed, I decided to give this a go. I am pleased to report it has dislodged what ever was making my fork seals leak.

I like the holder for the tool, it doesn’t blunt the edges, which is the most important part of this tool. It is affordable and easy to use this removed gunk under my fork dust seal which is usually the leading cause to forks seals leaking due to the dust and the abrasion in between, resulting micro wear and tear. Pull it out from your toolbox sleeve it from your fork tube tuck it under the fork dust seal give it a quick rotation slide it back out and voilà the gunk under your fork. Dust seal has been removed even if you don’t see any leaks Use it anyways. This is become a part of my routine maintenance, just like oil changes and chain lube and cleaning. It takes less than five minutes to use and will either prevent damage, fix leaks or increase the life of your fork seals. 10/10!

I had a fork seal start leaking halfway through the season after a bad crash bought this and used it after every muddy ride definitely stopped or reduced the leakage enough to let me get through the rest of the season without having to change the seals. Very good buy and has become a part of regular maintenance for me
