Handle is thick and sturdy

Solid quality with good design
This OXO wooden spoon is made from beechwood - like all wooden spoons used to be! I know from experience it will last well and be very strong. The nice part is the handle is thick enough and well-designed, making it easy and comfortable to grip, even when stirring heavy batters.

Loved this spoon but
This OXO wooden spoon was my favorite for mixing cookie dough 🍪 but then, after several months’ use, a big chunk broke off the tip 😕. I was so bummed and actually surprised, since the quality of OXO products is usually excellent, in my experience. I was very careful to not leave it soaking in dishwater, as I know that weakens the wood. Guess my hunt for a wooden spoon as sturdy as the ones my mom and grandma used continues..

The handle is much larger than expected but nice to hold. Very sturdy.

Not my favorite Oxo product but still ok
These wooden utensils arrived smooth and well-finished, with no splintering at all. They’re lightweight, heat-resistant, and safe for all my nonstick pans. The only thing I’d note is that the spoon tops were a bit thinner than expected—almost like they could slip into a narrow cabinet crack. Still, they’ve held up well with daily use and haven’t warped or stained. Great value for a simple, natural-feel set. Wouldn’t purchase again because they cracked but will contact customer service because they’re very helpful . Also they were very shinny and beautiful when I got them now not so much. I prefer Figmint from Target

schöner großer Holzlöffel
Ursprünglich dachte ich an einen Holzlöffel mit dem man z. B. wie Bud Spencer Bohnen löffeln kann, aber dann kam dieser wunderschöne große Holzlöffel, aus einem Stück, sehr hochwertig, ich liebe ihn sehr!

Strong and Well Made!!
Took a while to get here due to EU clearance rules etc...yawn, yawn...5 days for 1 wooden spoon... but when it finally arrived I was really impressed. It’s a strong, well made spoon, just the right size for stirring a good sized pan of soup or stew. I think it will last a long time. It doesn’t seem like it would crack any time soon. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it. Great price too for what it is. Well worth it!!

Cucharón de madera sin barniz. Es de muy buena calidad y tiene peso. Es de un tamaño grande. Para gente muy mayor, si no está acostumbrada a este tamaño, les pesa, pero sinó gran producto a tener en cuenta

La forme est bien pratique pour les bocaux un peu étroit et son manche est de bonne taille. Je recommande absolument ce produit.

Cuillère de bonne qualité, bonne longueur, elle bien large pour bien mélanger, je ne la mets pas dans le lave vaisselle.
