No. Thrush is a fungus which needs to be killed. This is simply a paste that sticks on raw areas to protect them from contact with vsaliva or urine, etc

What are the ingredients for this orabase paste

Active ingredient: 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide. Other ingredients: "Orabase" which contains gelatin, pectin, carmellose sodium, liquid paraffin and polyethylene resin.

Heard the composition does not now contain triamcinolone, is that correct?

Not sure if this helps but I have searched for that word on the tube (with difficulty as it’s squashed) and could not find it. BUT not 100% sure.

The description says it’s for use on the the skin around aromas but the reviews say it’s used orally, can this be right?

Hi, yes, this can be used for ulcers in the mouth - I've used it several times and it clears up ulcers quickly, much better than bonjela. Put it on last thing at night, after teeth brushing, it shields mouth sores from damaging saliva & they should clear up within 3 days rather than the usual week- 10 days!
