Modern, premium refrigerators are all inverter based and don't actually need a stabilizer for them to work as they adjust minor voltage fluctuations in the electrical lines but a voltage stabilizer is not only to maintain a constant voltage supply but it also acts as the first line of defense in case of any major electrical failures. Thw V-Guard VA 150 is rated to work with refrigerators above 600 L and my stabilizer is powering my new, Electrolux 600 L refrigerator and it has not had to deal with any mishaps so far considering minor electrical fluctuations are common where I am at. This stabilizer is not humongous but isn't very small either; it is perfect with reference to the refrigerator and has only one output socket. It comes with a 25 A plug but most of the home sockets are of smaller (may be 5 A) and you'll need a 5 A - 25 A adapter in order to be able to power the stabilizer after which it powers the refrigerator. Once powered, it takes around 3 minutes for the stabilizer to get ready for usage. Rest assured, it will comfortably power the refrigerator without any hiccups as long as there is no power outage. The unit is a bit heavy as expected and works noise-free and the two indicators on the top panel of the stabilizer indicate input and output power but the output lights only glows when the stabilizer is ready. It not only offers protection to your refrigerator but also offers you peace of mind as well by protecting the device against electrical surges / short circuits. Product looks very decent and nothing fancy about it and there are no settings to make - plug N play.

I bought this product around 4 months ago and the product developed a defect: the socket on the unit (to plug a refrigerator into the unit) became unreliable and loose with the result the refrigerator would not receive electricity and thus, go off. Shoddy workmanship at the least. What makes things worse is the company refused to rectify this simple defect at my home. They suggested I take the unit to a service center. The nearest center they recommended costs Rs. 1,200 by Uber. They flatly refused to rectify a BRAND NEW product that was shoddy to begin with. No apologies. VERY BAD attitude. This company needs to be taken to the Consumer Court.
