Really happy with this lamp! The colors are bright and fun, and I love all the different scene modes. It was easy to set up and connected to Alexa with no issues. The touch controls work well, and it’s the perfect size for a nightstand. Great little lamp for adding mood lighting to a bedroom or living room.

I already own a few Govee products, so I decided to give this smart bedside lamp a try. I really needed a new bedside lamp, so I figured I’d test it out—and I’m so glad I did. I ended up loving it. The brightness is excellent. It can get very bright at 100%, but you can also dim it down as much as you want, which is perfect for nighttime use. I was pleasantly surprised by how many different settings it has. I’ve used the Govee app before with my monitor backlight, but the features on this lamp feel completely different and much more immersive. There are so many fun modes—like fire-like flames, fireflies floating around, night sky effects, and soothing ambient lights. One of my favorite features is that you can actually draw in the app and have your drawing show up on the lamp. It feels creative and playful, not just functional. I was so satisfied with this lamp that I bought one for my sister, and I’m planning to get one for my parents as well. Great quality, great features, and amazing value for the price. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy my new lamp. Setup was very easy, I enjoyed a lot of the premade scenes in the app but very quickly moved on to making my own. I found the DIY features to be pretty adequate, but I think there's some mild room for improvement. The lamp itself is a well put together piece. My one criticism would be the clear/metallic plastic base - which up close doesn't look great, but in low lighting conditions does produce a nice effect. The lamp can get pretty bright and will light my whole room at Max brightness, but you wouldn't want to use it as a primary lighting source. The colors of the LED are superb and look really nice. They also really nailed it with the diffusion and controller, the animations look really smooth and the lights all blend - you won't get a pixelated look. I enjoyed it so much I ended up buying the glide wall lights to pair with it, which was the right choice. I think this piece really pops as a bedside companion piece to a larger wall installation.

I wanted something to add a little personality to my desk without going overboard and this lamp hits the right balance. The RGBIC lighting is the real selling point. Unlike basic RGB where the whole strip is one color, this one can show multiple colors at the same time which looks really clean on a desk setup. The app works well, easy to navigate and the scenes and color options are more than enough to keep things interesting. I mostly keep it on a calm warm tone while I work but it’s nice to switch it up when I want something different. It’s not trying to be anything it’s not. Good build quality, looks sleek, does exactly what you’d expect from a Govee product. If you want a simple way to add some ambiance to your workspace without a complicated setup, this is worth it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I’ve picked up four of these Govee lights over the past few months. Two sit on my headboard in the bedroom and the other two are on floating shelves in the living room. The floating shelves work because you can elevate the lights to try to get them to light up a larger area and it frees up surface space on any counter or table top. They work best in bedrooms or smaller rooms where the light has walls to bounce off. I could see where these might work well on a kitchen counter up against on backsplash (away from the sink of course). Once you get into a bigger space like a living room, they don’t feel nearly as bright. Colors are a bit hit or miss—red, blue, green look good, but yellow comes out more lime green and purple looks more like pink. On the plus side, they do both bright white and soft white, the app is solid, and they connect easily with Google Home for voice control. I can even turn them on and off remotely when I’m away from home. The sound-reactive modes are fun too if you want them to change with music. One small note: there’s a version with Bluetooth speakers (not this version), but you can only stream audio to one light at a time—no pairing for stereo sound. Overall, they’re great accent lights for smaller rooms or mood lighting. Just don’t expect them to fully light up a big living room. They're not perfect, but they're still pretty useful.

Amazing! I love this lil light. I use it at my desk and it makes it so much brighter. The customizable colors are great, and it’s super easy to adjust with the app. Installing it was a breeze — I literally just plugged it in and connected it the the WiFi via the Govee app. Highly recommend!

This lamp is just cool—no other way to put it. From the moment I plugged it in, the setup was seamless through the Govee app, and it instantly synced with Alexa. The color options and preset effects are vibrant and dynamic, and the touch controls are smooth and intuitive. Whether it's mood lighting at night or some ambient color during work or gaming sessions, this little lamp does a fantastic job. It’s compact, stylish, and doesn’t feel like a “cheap smart light.” The RGBIC effects are fluid, and the customization through the app offers tons of room to personalize it. The only thing I’d add isn’t really a complaint—just a wish. If Govee made a larger version, even bigger than the one with the built-in JBL speaker, it would be a grand slam. As it stands, this one is already a home run. Highly recommended if you want a stylish smart lamp with rich lighting features that just works.

I think it's a very nice lamp that looks attractive when lit up, where many of the modes have attractive blends of moving colours, and it's quiet. The light can be very bright, but can easily be adjusted with or without an app. An app or device aren't essential to use the lamp (there are some buttons on top), but you will need one for more customised displays, to have self-changing modes, for it to work on a timer, or for it to respond to music. Downsides would be that it's a bit expensive at full price; could look better when turned off; the different modes don't have a smooth/blended transition; I can't make a range of presets to set to physical buttons; and the autoplay feature turns off when the lamp does, meaning the autoplay needs to be turned on via the app every time instead of just starting automatically along with the timer. I don't like being so tied to an app (which seems to need bluetooth and precise location) and feel the colour options and modes within it could be made easier to customise. Despite my minor negatives, it still fits the bil for a colour changing lamp so still gets 5 stars. (As a side note for anyone who is unsure, this item plugs into an outlet with a regular plug (not a USB), and the cord is a faily average length, so some people may need an extension cord).

😃🥰 This thing honestly cheers me up every day☺️ its only been 1 week and im still gushing over how cute and fun this lamp is😃 PROS: • Clean, modern, smooth curves. I love that the branding logo is at least blended in nicely and not tacky.. pretty minimal. Not tacky. • I LOVE the DIY functions. Choosing your own colors from the color wheel is awesome. There are many colors to choose from ! #1 reason for buying this lamp was the DIY functions 🥰 • Price was okay, but still a bit steep. I bought 2 for a total of 162$ ... (you got a deal if you bought 2) 80 bucks is a bit steep still... even with all this lamp does. I would not pay more than 80 for this lamp... especially because it's not cordless like the updated one. • I love that they update the app with new options for preset scenes! I didn't even expect that and then I saw new ones appear one day. • I love that you can dim the background color in the DIY Sketch section. Helps a lot with night time chill time... plus looks great paired with bright colors in contrast to the dimmed background. I'm an adult female and I have so much fun playing with this lamp. All in all I LOVE this lamp. The cons/improvements I list below, are just me being very critical of the color limitation. CONS / Improvements • I wish you could get deeper colors.. like a deep striking red, a basic 'green crayon' green, a forest green... etc but it's just not possible. The greens are lime green to aqua. The reds aren't red, they are hot pink to coral pink even on the reddest setting. • The lamp is very bright, even on its lowest 1% setting. I can't have these on at night when I'm sleeping... which is kind of a bummer. Sometimes we have to turn them off when we're watching tv at night too, because theyre just so bright. Even the various sleep preset scenes that do have darker dimmed colors.. it's still quite bright. *** Correction though ... I found in the DIY Sketch that you can actually dim the main background color. Huge plus ! Now night time wont be so bright and I can really make other colors pop against the dimmed background. • Wish it were cordless of course, but I am sure they will make a cordless version since they already did with the Table Lamp Pro JBL speaker one. Hopefully they keep these ones smaller like they are but make them cordless. • For the preset 'scene settings' ..... you can't actually change the colors to anything you want. For the ones you CAN customize (there are a few you 100% can not) There is a list of 8 different color "combos" to choose from. If you don't like a color used in any of those 8 color combos, you cant do anything about it. So for my favorite scene settings, I can only use that scene if I use one of the 8 pre set options provided for that scene. This is shown on one of my review photos. However, I have recreated some of the "preset scenes" using the DIY/Sketch function. That enables me to use whatever colors I choose.. but still there are limitations around this. For example, the "Fire" Preset Scene, you can't choose other colors for that fire movement scene at all. Which sucks. It would look very cool in other colors. *** EDIT --- I stand corrected after exploring some more. In the DIY section, you do have "fire" as an effect and you can change the color of it... including various colors it will morph into. It just doesnt show on the actual 'fire' preset scene. Very happy to have realized this ☺️ • The Ai function is super cool.. and I know it works awesome on their other products such as their light panel or curtain lights... this one has limitations only because of the inability to use darker or duller color. For example in my last photo you can see I asked for a moody greyish blue sky... slate grey/slate dull blue would have been awesome with white clouds... but it can't do those colors (slate greyish blue). HOWEVER now that I know I can dim the background significantly in the DIY section, I can maybe pull this off. Finding a way to realllyy have "millions" of colors to choose from would be great. I'm being really picky here lol I do love the color options it does have. 😍🥰 With most variations of any color on the DIY color wheel, outside of the most obvious variations, the difference is barely barely noticeable, even if on the app they show as very different shades or tints of blue, there is barely a difference once on the lamp...... Though there often IS a difference. You can see the slight change when you switch back and forth, for the most part. You get a lot of pink, since the entirety of the red are variations of pink.. plus the actual entire pink section. Much of the "purples" are actually fuschia pink. You have to go very blue to get a regular "purple". There are way less variations of green, purple, yellow. Green for example, there is only lime green and quickly goes to aqua, or yellow on the other side. Basic green crayon color would be awesome. Purple usually looks more blue or fuschia.. depending what colors you pair it with it or whether purple is totally by itself. Or if you dim the background color, your 'purple'(fuschia) will probably turn more towards actual purple. When I use a red background, (which shows hot hot reddish pink to orangey red.. never real red).... i can get a purple heart on it by making the heart blue. It then shows up purple. So there are tricks. ☺️ I am really happy with the custom colors though despite these few limitations haha I'm making it sound worse than it is. It's an awesome lamp. 🥰 I wish I could draw/sketch white and grey mountains... like light grey with contrasting dark grey and slate grey, with white tips mountains. I will play around with it some more though, because in the DIY "Fire" effect, I see some 'slate' greys possible be used. So it seems possible? Another example of this limitation: 🎅🎄Christmas colors.. there are none. ... Since red is hot pink and green is lime green. So the preset christmas scenes do not give christmas vibes at all. Same with the Halloween... purple is never purple enough unless you have zero colors near it... or place enough blue next to fuschia to turn the fuschia a nice purple. The halloween presets that have orange and purple next to eachother, the purple never shows well enough to look Halloweeny. In my opinion. St Patricks Day Preset Scenes are capable of lime green only... Other than that, These lamps are so awesome. 😁 I'm totally buying more Govee products 😏😛 I ordered the Uplighter off their website just days after I bought these lamps😛 One small annoyance is I ordered from the Govee website 5 days ago and my uplighter still isnt here. I went through the website bc it was on sale for 170 + an extra 8$ off coupon code....... 5 days later today the lamp is here on Amazon on sale for 160..... So I could have got the lamp within 24hrs had I been able to use Amazon but they lagged 5 days on matching their amazon store sale to their website sale. Hopefully it arrives today.

Sí es cara pero no he visto mejor lámpara de mesa, es preciosa. Antes tuve una lámpara con una forma casi idéntica pero de la marca Meross. La Meross es una buena lámpara, todavía la tengo en otro cuarto, pero la Govee está a otro nivel por completo. Es entretenida, la app está completísima. Los usuarios comparten diferentes animaciones de colores, puede responder al ritmo de la música ambiental, puedes usar luz blanca con diferentes temperaturas, puedes dibujar sobre una malla para que la lámpara muestre tu dibujo. Si tienes otras luces Govee puedes crear ambientes de iluminación. Las luces de color animan el espacio, la lámpara se ve bonita y decorativa. La luz blanca es suficientemente fuerte (más que la Meross) como para servirte de luz de lectura de sobra. Hasta para iluminar tu cuarto si no quieres encender tu luz principal. Para no sentir que gastaba mucho en una lámpara, la compré a 6 meses sin int. con TC. Así ni lo siento y tengo una lamparita en mi mesa de trabajo que me alegran las 8 horas que paso ahí todos los días. Recomendable al 100% (las fotos y video no le hacen justicia, en vivo se ve mucho mejor)

Gran producto! Cumple con la calidad esperada. Tiene su sistema touch pad y su aplicacion movil el cual lo puedes vincular con Alexa sin ningun problema. Un perfecto regalo!

I originally got one of these Govee RGBIC Smart Table Lamps for Christmas and liked it so much that I bought a second one for the living room. They put out a great amount of light and the colours look really good. The RGBIC lighting allows multiple colours at once, which makes the lighting effects look much better than a standard single-colour lamp. Setup was quick and the app connected to the lamp without any issues. The app is also easy to use and makes it simple to change colours, adjust brightness, or try different lighting scenes depending on the mood or the room. It’s also fun being able to change the lighting for different holidays or festivities if you want to. Overall it’s a great smart lamp with lots of customization and I’d definitely buy another one.
