ProBliva Fungus Shampoo for Itchy Scalp and Hair Care - Helps Calm & Soothe S...

I absolutely never write reviews. I am 85 years old, and the last 2 years have had PSORIASIS, especially aggravating on my scalp. My dermatologist had me using Ketoconazole shampoo, and Mometasone Solution to get relief. I tried every type of psoriasis and dandruff shampoo recommended in the stores. I bought everything I read good reviews on from Amazon. I was miserable especially at night. I sometimes had to get up and wash my hair in the middle of the night. I have had this shampoo for awhile now, and I substituted it off and on with the Ketoconazole shampoo. The medicated Ketoconazole is rather harsh on the hair, so I used this product as it felt good to my scalp, and it dried softly without much use of the hairdryer. Finally, I just started using the ProBliva all the time. I can't tell you how amazed I have been that this truly works. I do not use the RX Keto shampoo except when I have a flareup I can't control. I love this shampoo. I wash my hair every 3 days now, and not every day. I combine it with once a day use of Mometasone solution mostly before bed. I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO! I am so glad I found it, and have found a way to manage my scalp psoriasis. At bedtime, I brush my hair really well (yes, I do get flaking at time coming out), and I apply the Mometasone. I assure you I am not getting paid for this review. I wish I was, but I would only just want more of this shampoo as payment!! Truly. I know not everything works well for everyone, but for me, this has worked wonders.

The shampoo is a really good product, atheist for me overall, smells pretty good no harshness at all. So I suffer from a really bad scalp fungi that causes lesions, hairloss/spots and severe itching and bleeding especially if left unchecked. I have been fighting this stuff for at least five years and nothing really helped much especially since I needed to moisturize or condition for dry scalp....moisture being the main thing the fungi feeds off of. Anyway, this shampoo worked wonders, there was one night in particular where a bit of itch started up and I scratched too much causing bad irritation, I hopped into the shower and used the shampoo, the effect was nearly immediate and the inflammation was completely gone within about thirty minutes. BTW another thing I use that helps a lot is pure tea tree oil. I mix it with Gravesend oil and rose water in a spray bottle. So half rose water, half Gravesend oil and about five drops or so of pure tee tree oil in an 8oz bottle. I shake and spray my hair and scalp everyday....simply amazing and my scalp is hundreds of times better.

I had dry, itchy, flaky scalp for a long time. I tried just about every OTC shampoo I could think of. Nothing worked until this shampoo. It took a few weeks to work but it did the job so well that I bought another bottle. The reason for the 1 star deduction is the quality control. The first bottle definitely seemed watery. It lathered well and worked so I didn't think much about it. This second bottle has a much thicker consistency, more like what you would expect of a shampoo. I hope it works as well as the diluted stuff, it has to right. Anyway, I expect my hair products to be consistent from bottle to bottle and the great difference between the two has me questioning their quality control.

I have been using the shampoo for around two years and cannot live without it. It has worked wonders for my dry scalp, psoriasis, and dirt build up. I have tried other medicated shampoos before that only left my scalp and hair smelling terrible with no true results. This product really works and has made a noticeable difference in my day today. I use this 2 to 3 times a week and will never go back!!

Not much of a lather. Scalp is still itchy, but going to keep using it to see if I need more time. So far not noticing a big difference. Thicker hair would have to use more that’s for sure, but I’ll say the smell is pleasant. My hair still feels like it needs a deep conditioner after so it doesn’t really make my hair feel soft. My main reason was to help with dry scalp and any scaling or fungus. Like I said, so far still dry and using warm water with a water softener and then this and still feel the same. I’m going to give it a little more time and come back and update my review after I’ve used it a little longer. I’m not giving up yet.

UPDATE: August 2025. They have changed the formula and I hate it. The old formula was perfect. Now it's so thick it won't come out of the bottle spout. And it used to look clean and fresh. Now it's just white like any other shampoo. I'll probably keep using it but I'm rerally unhappy with the change, Why did you pick this product vs others?: I tried many others and this is now the only shampoo I use. In addition to being anti-fungal (cures my itchy scalp) it is also just great shampoo. My hair hasn't looked this good in years and I get constant compliments about it.

This stuff is amazing! I’ve been struggling with scabs on my scalp for weeks and have tried all different things. I decided to give this a try and it works!!! I’ve now done 2 washes with it and my scalp is about 90% cleared - in 2 days!! And there is no more itching!! The shampoo smells good too! It will dry out your hair so you need a good conditioner for the ends.

I suffered from ichy scalp which I suspected was due to fungus. I've used Nizerol and it works fine but I wanted something I could use daily and was all natural...this is it. It works like advertised. Shampoo in and leave on for at least two minutes...then rinse...do not apply conditioner. I use a spray leave-in conditioner but DO NOT rub the conditioner into your scalp, just run it through your hair...the products ingredients need to heal your scalp of fungus and conditioner will work against that which is why I just spray it into my hair. Product does as advertised.

To get this product to work well, you need to massage it into your scalp, not just scrub it into your hair. Let it rest on your scalp for a few minutes after massaging. Then rinse. Many have commented that it’s gentle enough for daily use & they don’t use conditioner. I’m not sure how that is possible. I find it EXTREMELY drying and without conditioning, my hair is just awful. So I work my conditioner into my hair & avoid my scalp. I’ve also had to start using a leave-in conditioner. I’m happy to report that after several weeks’ use, the itchiness is gone. I’m not sure that it’s completely resolved (it may still be lurking and ready to strike when I lower my guard) so I’ll continue to use this product for a while longer. I recommend this product as it works when nothing else has.

After battling an itchy scalp for months trying t gel psoriasin and other stuff. This is the only one that worked for me. I will buy again if needed. Do yourself a favour and give your head relief lol
