Kitchen Devils S8602003 Lifestyle Kitchen Knife, Black, 22cm

You need this knife. They are handy and used in many kitchen preparations. They are ferociously sharp and made of good quality steel. I broke my last one through my own fault. I was trying to open a stuck carton with it and the blade snapped. So, I ordered two more just to have a reserve and will not mis-treat them .

I've been using this kitchen knife for the past 15 years. It's the best knife I've ever used. I bought a replacement as mine retired. I hope it's the same quality.

This knife is very sharp! I’ve cut myself a couple of times already! Makes me realise just how blunt my old one had become & I didn’t realise it. It was to replace my tried & trusty old one of the same make but the model of which no longer seems to be available but it is a good 20 years or more!! This was the nearest I could find to replicate my previous one size wise etc but this has a serrated edge my other did not. I love it all apart from the serrated edge, I guess I’ll get used to it & to be honest I’ll be happier once it’s been used a bit & is less sharp but I don’t suppose in reality I should be complaining about it being sharp, that’s what we usually expect & want in a kitchen knife, therefore the knife delivers!! Just be careful!!

Very sharp. Serrations make it ideal for slicing tomatoes and peppers in particular. Have used this brand for years. Have bought this one only because I lost my old one!

What can I say about this wonderful little knife?For years I've always had TWO of these knifes in my kitchen drawer. Because they are so useful I was always concerned that if I mislaid one, at least I'd have another one to fall back on. A few days ago one of them came apart from the handle and I had to throw it in the bin. It must have been at least twenty years old and it was like saying goodbye to an old friend! I was delighted to find a replacement on Amazon, and am seriously thinking of ordering another, just in case.These knives are just wonderful for slicing items up thinly, such as cucumber, onions, tomatoes, courgettes, apples, lemons etc, also brilliant for cheese, cutting open a bread roll, testing to see if veggies are cooked properly by sticking the pointy end in, and loads and loads of other useful things. However, not so good for cutting up hard vegetables such as carrot, potato, parsnip etc. For these a vegetable knife is recommended, and Kitchen Devil do an excellent one.

THESE Knives ARE REALLY SHARP--SO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THEM

This is by far my favourite knife in my kitchen. I've bought two of them because my husband also goes for this one as a favourite. They are sharp and they don't lean as they cut. I definitely recommend them.

Ma mère recherchait ces couteaux à légumes depuis 15 ans. Ils sont au niveau de leur "ancêtre" : légers, maniables et redoutables lorsque vous découpez une tomate.Gros point positif : les dents coupent, ils n'arrachent pas.

The knife is sharp and works well, but the tip broke. Poor quality. I barely used it a week or two.Very disappointed
