I bought this mounting tape because others wouldn’t keep my canvas prints on the wall. This works great but there’s a good chance you’ll remove a patch of paint when you remove it. It was difficult and frustrating to remove the tape backing until I started to use a paring knife to separate the backing from the tape. Bottom line: it finally fixed my mounting problem.

I have purchased this before and do love it but unless you have hands of steel, it is very hard to pull it apart! I used it to hold down my Christmas Tree and decorations on my fireplace mantle. Would I recommend yes if you think you can pull it apart. Lol

My wife had a few wooded signs and pictures she wanted to hang in the motorhome. Instead of screws, this sounded like a good solution. Before applying the tape, I used rubbing alcohol to clean the wall area and the back of the items to hang, and let them dry overnight. When I applied the tape, it held the items to the wall. But several of them fell off the wall over the next few days, with the motorhome stationary. If we were traveling, the extra stress would have probably taken them all down. So I removed them all, and repeated the procedure with velcro. Worked great. The tape's in the trash.

Did what I needed to replace double-sided tape under a panel on my truck that holds my 3rd rear brake light (above back window). Only had it on a week, so time will tell about it being weatherproof. It's certainly sticky and seems to adhere well, but I was also able to pull up the ends a little after applied, to adjust it. I like that the large roll comes in a plastic zip lock bag to keep it in, otherwise you'd get hair and grit on the edges of the tape when stored. The red backing was a little challenging to remove, but once started it pulled off easily. Recommend for basic jobs.

We bought this specifically for use on our new concrete retaining walls to fasten down Christmas lights. It is supposed to work outside, but it will not stick to damp concrete. It does a little better on dry concrete, but I am sure as soon as that gets wet, it will not stick any more. Do not buy this for concrete.

I had no idea there was such a great tool until my neighbor mentioned he used the tape to put up lights on his fence. He said he did not want to put in the screws since he wasn't sure where he wanted the lights. I got the idea and put up solar lights using the tape and was surprised how sturdy they sit on the fence. No need for a drill or hammer.

Wanted a double sided tape to attach vinyl stair tread protector covers. Received (2) rolls contained in packaging similar to zip lock type bags. One side of bag consisted of a transparent heavy gage plastic and the opposite side was a white very thin plastic. In attempting to remove tape from bag the white plastic was adhered to edge of tape and would not separate from tape no matter what I did including using a heat gun to soften tape. The transparent plastic pulled away from tape edges very easily. In order to unroll tape I had to cut white plastic in between layers of tape to unwind tape. This additional effort of cutting white plastic caused the job to take at least 4 times longer than it should have to complete. When tape was FINALLY removed from roll it performed as expected. My suggestion would be for manufacturer to redesign their zip lock shipping packages to include heavy duty transparent plastic on both sides of zip lock shipping bags. It would enhance customer satisfaction and allow one to complete job in a timely manner. It is for this reason that I only rated product 2 STARS. Wish vendors would anticipate needs of customers. Of course I would say this is a great product that I ever use and on my experience with 3M double side I used this product is better than 3 M. I swear with what ever, would recommend for anyone any kind this a great tape you can try. You will say like me
