I’ve been using the Instax Mini Link 3 for about a month now, and it’s easily become one of my favourite creative tools for personal use, gifts, and scrapbooking. Print quality The image quality is surprisingly good for an instant printer. Colours are vibrant, and details come through well when the source photo is high resolution. It won’t match professional printing, but for instant film, the output is sharp and consistent. The added rich mode setting in the app helps boost contrast and colour depth without overdoing it. Ease of use Setup took under five minutes. It connected to my phone via Bluetooth without any issues, and the companion app is simple and user-friendly. I especially like the editing tools – being able to crop, filter, and adjust brightness before printing is a small but meaningful improvement over older models. Design and portability It’s lightweight, compact, and has a clean, minimalist look. The ribbed texture on the exterior gives it a nice grip. The USB-C charging is a welcome upgrade and feels more future-proof. Fun features The motion controls are more than just a gimmick – swiping to print or tilting the printer to zoom adds a playful touch. You can also print stills from videos and create collage layouts or QR codes for messages, which is great for events, journaling, or personalised gifts. Limitations The main consideration is film cost. Instax Mini film isn’t cheap, and once you start printing frequently, it adds up. That said, the film is widely available and reliable in performance.

Love this and use it all the time. The app is easy to use and you can get creative if you want. Battery once charged has a long life. Photo quality is good. Definitely recommend.

such an ideal lightweight picture printer, battery life is VERY good - would definitely recommend this over the cameras as you can print out pictures from your gallery with this! the colour accuracy is amazing, it is quite compact so can fit anywhere. no connection issues and quality of photos are amazing!

I’m very happy with this item, once I got it working. The photos are easy to print and come out in a great quality. It comes with a charger lead but you have to use your own plug. It important to note the printer doesn’t connect straight away to your Bluetooth as it has to charge up first. I don’t think the instructions made this specifically clear.

I always wanted an instant photo camera however with the price of the film was always reluctant. This printer is the perfect alternative. The printer itself is super light and compact if you want to carry with you. It takes approx 1.5hr charge out of the box via usb-c. Once charged set up is very quick and easy. There is also a light indicator you can check the battery life. It also has an auto shut off so no battery drain. Film is easy to insert and the app has a ton of features to customise your prints. If you’ve always wanted the joy of instant photos this is great to ensure you get the photo you want perfectly every time!

This is an amazing printer that produces credit card sized Polaroid style photos. Once on the app it’s very simple to customise the photos on your phone in whichever way you like. Add little doodles, borders or texts, the possibilities are endless. And the quality of the prints are very good. Dont forget to use Rich mode to print in and also that the first print is a dummy. Its Really good fun and replacement print cartridges are very reasonable and come in many different variations. I would recommend buying the Instax printer over an instant photo camera, as the picture quality, I think is far more superior.

Initially there was a glitch with film getting stuck. But it would start working by itself. Now it has totally stopped reading any film cartridge. That too within a month. Seems like they are selling defective models in India.

Be careful when changing the film. The printer needs to be switched ON. If the printer is swiched off, the film counter will not reset properly, and after a few prints, the printer will report error 178- claiming that there is no film in the printer even though there is still unused film. There doesn't seem to be a way to reset the counter, so you'll need to install a new film pack and waste the unused film. It didn't have to be designed this way, Fujifilm- this really looks like a way to force extra sales of film. 1 star removed for this tactic. Definitely a dedicated photo printer from Epson or Canon is the way to go.

Best product ever if you love the polaroid format... You are not tied to having the machine with you, you can print from wherever you are as long as you have blootooth available and you have the cute moment you shot with your phone anywhere you are. Super recommended. Moreover, the colour is so girly and aesthetically pleasing. Defo a great gift idea and once you buy it its also super comfy to print little pure moments to gift to your loved ones.
