Fantastic
The MINISFORUM MSS-A156 has far exceeded my expectations. The 15.6-inch 2K IPS display is incredibly sharp with vibrant colours, and the 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut really makes a difference for photo editing and media work. The 144Hz refresh rate also makes everything from scrolling to gaming feel super smooth. Visuals are definitely this monitor’s strongest point. The ten-point touch support is accurate and responsive, and I had no issues using it with both Windows and macOS. It’s also great that it includes dual speakers, which are fine for casual use. It’s not a replacement for external speakers, but they’re perfectly serviceable for calls and light media. What impressed me most was the size and build. At only 900 grams, it’s incredibly light but still feels premium thanks to the aluminium body. It fits neatly in my laptop bag and doesn’t add noticeable weight, which makes it ideal for travel or working on the go. Connectivity is also spot on. The two full-featured USB-C ports, mini HDMI, and headphone jack give you plenty of flexibility for laptops, tablets, and even games consoles. Setup was effortless and everything you need is in the box, including a case and all the relevant cables. If you’re looking for a stylish, high-performance portable display with great image quality and flexibility, this one’s easy to recommend. Absolute value for money.

Premium Quality
Fantastic monitor, unbeliverable value. I did replace the 30w PSU with an Anker 30w one for no other reason than it was foldable and more premium, but the one it comes with does the job. Very premium packaging. Excellent Build quality and the case doubles as a stand and is magnetic. I use it with an SFF PC when tavelling for work rather than a laptop and I love it. Runs uptp 144hz but I have it at 120 which provides a great desktop experience and super fluid gaming.

Decent for home office, 60Hz monitors.
So I've been using this portable dual screen monitor (MDSA156) for a bit now, both at work and at home and it's interesting - it's basically two 15.6-inch screens connected by a hinge, kind of like a laptop but without the keyboard. The screens themselves are decent – 1080p, which is fine for most tasks (especially office tasks), its good enough for spreadsheets and browsing, but not ideal for photo or video editing. Setting it up is pretty easy - its just a single USB-C cable for both power and video if your laptop supports it, which is handy. There's also an HDMI port if you need it (see attached photos - my nano-PC is plugged via HDMI so it has a power adapter plugged in in this case). I like that the screens can be arranged in different ways – side-by-side, stacked or technically even tent-style for sharing with someone. Useful for presentations or showing the kids a movie. One thing to keep in mind is the build quality. It's mostly metal, which feels sturdy, but it's not exactly premium and it's a little heavier than I expected (talking portability). Not a deal-breaker of course but definitely something to consider if you're planning to carry it around all day. There are built-in speakers which is very convenient for me but the sound quality is just okay, fine for casual listening, but I wouldn't rely on them for anything serious. All I can say, it works fine for me, it's a decent portable monitor, especially for the price. It's not perfect – the screen quality could be better and its 60Hz max and it's a bit heavier than I'd like. But for increasing productivity on the go or having extra screen space at home, especially for office related stuff it does the job perfectly. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars and I think its a fair rating. Good for daily use, but don't expect it to blow you away.

Quite handy for gaming.
On the second screen I will have screen capture software and the VC open too. While there are many screens with the similar specs (1440p, 144hz), I got this also for the touchscreen (can annotate screenshots and scroll with finger). Works with no issue with windows 11 and no set up required (as previous issues with multiple displays with one being touch seems to be fixed), but only over USB C, as hdmi cannot transfer touch signals. Accessories included are very handy. Has usb c power supply, usb c data transfer cable (as your own usb c charging cable is not sufficient), and hdmi to mini hdmi. Has a very nice feeling metal construction and beautiful bright crisp picture. Easy to navigate screen menu too. The anime girl was not on the box, very sad. Edit: You might get better results with HDR using HDMI. But because HDMI cannot transfer touchscreen signal, I found a solution that is plugging second cable (also included) usb c from the screen to regular usb (type a) into the computer. This second cable brings back touch functionality and simultaneously powers it. Seems like my usb-a port gives enough power.

Beware of downloading a manual
The screens worked fine connected up to a PC and an Apple laptop. There are a number of settings to configure the two screens so went to the manufavturer’s website to download a manual. Two options available: a paid and free one. Selected the free one and the site promptly downloaded a virus on to the laptop!

Fantastic
I was tempted with the JSAUX FLIPGO LITE as it was on offer. Sadly you need to upgrade to the pro version to get two extended screens on a Mac rather than 1 big one. This screen whilst it doesn't come all of the extended USB ports as the other; does have the usb drivers to drive the monitor on Mac in a dispalylink fashion so I can 2 extended screens. I can confirm it works on mac air m1, it needs enough power to the monitor and then the correct usb c to the mac. Put monitor in mac extend mode, install drivers reboot and allow the driver to access the screen.. Again just like display link.. I'm very pleased with the display. It's built well and the 315 degree flip over could be useful. Definitely recommended for additional screens. If you need something with gaming or photo editing then pay some more. Otherwise it'll be great for work.
