hot, cold, blended, or ICE CREAM. I love the flavor and the versatility of it. YUM
I have the chocolate. Smells good, tastes good. In short, I love the flavor. I'm familiar with nose to tail powders, and this one is very easy on my tastebuds. Nice chocolate flavor, sweetness that I find tasty, and it is SO EASY for me to mix. I never bother with shaker bottles, and instead always use a hand held frother. I also tend to add to my coffee. When I make a cold concoction, then I am usually dumping all my supplements into a motorized blender. I think that anyone who wants to use this in a shaker cup, perhaps use a little warm water to help the process, then top with cold water. Sometimes mixability is harder when the product is as close to the original source as possible. I appreciate they dont have added junk just to make it easier for someone to shake their drink. So, I bought this back in the late fall of 2025, and I am only now getting around to trying it 4-5 month later. I had purchased a few brands of similar style at the same time, and I was working through those first. I found those to be ok, and would consider them again, but THIS...OMG YES, I LOVE it!!! 1st, has the nose to tail which I am looking for. I eat plenty of meat (ketovore) and sometimes include organs, but definitely not often enough. I take capsules, but frankly I dont always want that either. 2nd I need a lot of protein, and it can be hard. I aim for 140-178 per day, and despite a heavy meat based diet, I dont reach it easily enough. Not without help. While I will use whey protein, I prefer other sources, such as this. Also, I dont always want to eat, so making a smoothy of some sort (hot or cold) is a daily part of way of eating. I also do some fasting (18 hrs or so) and I will use this as a mini meal before my main meal or I will use this as a dessert of the sort. Whatever the case, I have found that I can incorporate it in all sorts of ways. Today isnt a fasting day, but I wont be taking in regular food until later where I will have a big ole steak. Since I want to make sure I am getting protein through the day to meet my goals, I (for example), this morning had a coffee (not too hot) with creatine, collagen powder, and Saltt caramel vibes electrolyte. Then around noon had more coffee, and a scoop of this. YUM! Next, I appreciate that there are no carbs to consider. I use a variety of supplements (because I like to and I want to bridge the gap, This is how I like to operate), but the carb count can add up if I am not super watchful. I am currently very low carb 10 grams total most day. Total, not net. WHen I loosen up, I aim for less than 30 grams total. But nost days, 10-15 grams. Not worrying about my protein powder is really refreshing. Which brings me to... ICE CREAM. Oh heck yeh. I have a Ninja Creami which I invested in just so I could make my liquid smoothies into something I could eat. I hate the term game changer, but in this case, GAME CHANGER. So my recipes vary, but I like to take 1-2 eggs and add them raw or sometimes I will temper them with some almond milk (whisk then add to warm liquid on stove, not too high to keep eggs from scrambling, but enough to cook for those squeemish).. I use the almond milk to give some body without adding carbs (1 g for 1 cup). I use the eggs for protein and fat. Then I add a scoop of protein powder of choice. Sometimes I add a little addition cacao powder (3 grams carbs for 1 tbs, but 3 grams fiber, so 0 net), sometimes another protein powder or maybe a little keto chow for the vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes. I dont necessarily need an entire serving. or I will use their unflavored base. Then, if I want more fat, I will add 2 TBS heavy cream. i add enough water to fill up to the max line on the cup (mine is 16 ounce). I add 1 tsp of guar gum just to make sure it blends smooth, not icy. Freeze, then once frozen spin. If icy, I add a splash of liquid and respin. That's it. (Oh, to mix it all before going into freezer cup I use an immersion blender). Pretty much no matter how I make it, an entire pint is under 5 carbs and usually enough vitamins and minerals to serve as a meal, or "dessert". Eating my smoothies is incredible, and being able to eat an entire pint at the time satisfies my need for volume. Um, yeh, so try it or dont. Feel free to add things to it that keep in line with your nutritional needs yet may make it how you want it to taste. Too sweet? add a little salt, or coffee. I will be truing other flavors. I can see adding the vanilla chai to black tea and having it hot, iced, or blended with ice. Or ice cream, haha.

Delicious and not 'fake' protein
I never write reviews, but this product deserves one! I've been adding the chocolate flavored protein to my coffee for the past two months. It not only adds tremendous flavor but gets some major nutrients into my body first thing in the morning. My focus is improved in the mornings thanks to the mushrooms and I have RA, which means joint health is very important to me. I understand it's costly, but unlike whey proteins, this is protein derived from animal sources, which is what my body needs. I read a lot of reviews that say it's too sweet for their taste, I think it tastes amazing! I am on my third order!

Great Protein!
I've tried a lot of protein powders and this one is by far my favorite. I have both the chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate makes a wonderfully smooth hot chocolate and they both taste amazing in coffee. Works just fine in milk as well. It mixes well in hot drinks, but takes a bit with cold. It does get clumpy, but I always blend my drinks so it's not a big problem. I wouldn't just use a shaker bottle to mix it, it is thick. It is on the sweeter side, but I enjoy it. Most proteins really upset my stomach, but this one goes down easy and stays down. Makes me feel full as well. I highly recommend, even though it is a bit more expensive. I'd rather pay a little more for clean ingredients and a calm stomach.

THE BEST!
My FAVORITE EVER protein shake. It’s full of healthy and clean ingredients! I’m a crunchy mom & this is a great choice! It tastes so yummy, my 18 month old even loves to steal sips from me. Great value for your money and health!! Gives me the energy I need to start my day! It can be a little clumpy & bubbly when it mixes sometimes but I figured out if I use it with my battery powered mixer & then use the vacuum seal feature it gets all the air bubbles out & the texture is perfect. I always mix with raw milk & 1/2 of a banana & it tastes just like a banana chocolate shake! I used it with water once and won’t ever do that again lol, definitely use milk!!

Taste great!
Taste great. Honestly better than many protein powders I’ve tried over the years, and digest cleanly.

What was I thinking?
I’m having lots of thoughts and feelings about this purchase after the first taste test, but I will try not to make this a journal entry. This does not mix well at all with whole milk in a shaker cup because the powder just clumps—it must be blended. It blends smoothly and the texture with the milk was thick and silky with lots of foam. The biggest problem I have is the taste. It is instantly that artificial sweetener taste that hits you hard and after swallowing it leaves a weird lingering aftertaste. Unfortunately, the cocoa flavor was very mild, how sad! They have somehow hidden the mushroom taste and scent. I had to force it down and now I feel so full. $74 and I have to force it down? Ridiculous. I am not looking forward to trying to use this up, I will try water next time. I made my husband drink one because he just had his hip replacement and he was not happy about it at all. I tried to explain to him that he needs good quality protein right now but he hates the artificial sweetener taste more than I do, so he will definitely never drink it again. He said it wasn’t chalky, but it was not pleasant. I agree and I feel like a dummy.

Good for sweet tooth, high quality and great recovery
Yes it’s true it doesn’t mix well all the time, I personally love making it with hot water it literally tastes like hot cocoa super satisfying. keeps my energy up throughout the day, and i'm glad to have the variety of benifits granted its not a lot of mg of each I assume 570mg is the entire mix, I may be wrong and it’s 570 each, but that makes sense since it doesn’t bother my stomach, i’d think too much of a bunch of supplements at once can go wrong. also big on the bone broth protein as its more pure and more variety of amino acids compared to bland mystery meat whey protein which I absolutely don’t like and messes my stomach up, I don’t believe it even gives you the full benefit of protein if it’s not quality like this one is. if you pair this with something like shilijit or seamoss you’ll be a beast… really good recovery when I keep drinking this daily.

Taste not bad, but doesn’t mix well
Edited: ***Just adding an update. I found 2 more uses for this powder since it doesn’t blend well. I make chocolate pudding and “fudgesicles” out of it for my kids. They are delicious!! I used 2 cans full fat coconut milk, 10 whole medjool dates, and 3 scoops of this protein powder. I had enough to pour into 8 popsicles molds (silicone mold also from Amazon) and I refrigerated the rest into small jars for pudding. I love this company and I take their supplements regularly, so I was excited to try this! Unfortunately though, what everyone says about this powder is true. It doesn’t mix well AT ALL. It clumps up and gets weird. That being said, it doesn’t taste horrible. It has that monkfruit flavor… but not bad. The best way to consume this (IMO) is either in a smoothie, or mix with coffee using a handheld milk frother. That did the trick for me.
