Product is very compact and very easy to install and configure. It worked as expected and I would recommend this as a good security gadget for any home.

Excellent product

The tapo smart hub works very well and serves the intended purpose of coordinating the smart devices. I am very satisfied with the functionality of the Hub app also and the degree of automation supported by the tapo ecosystem. Communication between devices is quick and haven't noticed any lag at all. However, the hub gets very hot and stays hot always, it's not clear why this is happening, so I'm worried about its longevity. Will have to wait and see.

Alarm is loud enough and is audible from far. Built in wifi hotspot functions well

If you have multiple Tapo devices, this is a very good addition. It connects with all the tapo devices and then you can set various automations. For example, I have set an automation in which any of my tapo terrace camera detects human or sensor detects that a door is open, the tapo hub will start an alarm, the tapo led strip will turn on with red color and I will receive a notification of an intruder from the tapo app. The only con is the max volume of the hub. It would have been better if it was more loud.

A few people saying this only works with the new cameras are 100% wrong here or don't know to tinker around.. Apart from the first-gen Tp link cameras the later versions got a firware update for the h200 hub support even for the c100 camera..

No Wall-Mount Option: The hub lacks built-in provisions for wall mounting, limiting placement options. Overall, the Tapo H200 Smart Hub performs its intended functions well but could benefit from louder alarm capabilities and more flexible installation options.

Il Tapo H200D è un hub smart semplice e affidabile, facile da configurare anche per chi non è esperto. Le notifiche dei sensori arrivano subito (ad esempio apertura porte o movimento) e l’allarme integrato è molto utile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Prend peu de place, paramétrage facile, couvre sans problème 100 m2 avec étage un module amplificateur est disponible pour les cas difficiles. L'ajout et le paramétrage des capteurs et caméras compatibles est aussi facile que rapide . Matériel à conseiller.

OBS! Varning för denna version av Tapo H200 Hub! Amazon levererar denna i UK (United Kingdom) utförande d.v.s. strömadaptern har bara Brittisk kontakt! Man måste alltså köpa en "anpassning" mellan Europeisk (EU) Schuko kontakt och power adaptern för att ens kunna ansluta hubben till väggutaget!

Bought this item to manage the Tapo devices that we have as the cost of a subscription is a bit costly, popped in and SD micro card and away we go. The hub itself is easy to connect to the WiFi,and after it's firmware update ( only took a few minutes) seems to be working well, it connected to our various devices easily and saves the recordings to the hub, the door chimes are nice and loud and scared the bejesus out of me the first time it went off. Great little item well worth getting if you don't want to pay out for a subscription
