Worked better than I expected.
Since all the shops are closed now I bought these for my old work shoes that needed to be resoled to see what I could do on my own. I also purchased the Barge contact cement well worth the cost as that really worked well and I was able to get these half soles on really good. There was no need to trim the heels they fit spot on as is and I had very little to trip off the half sole and it was easy with a new razor. TIme will tell how they last but they did give new life to my old soles and I think I will be purchasing again.

Diy life extender for your shoes but make sure you have the right tools.
Product works to add extra life to worn outer soles but depending how bad it is the price on extra materials may not be worth it. I purchased in addition to this 2x gorilla glues clear, shoegoo, had a heatgun, card board, rubber bands, soft craft foam. The shoe in question had severely worn soles 30 degree slope in the ball of the for and a hole in the outer sole near the arc which went through the shoe due to constant stresses. The original insole was also detacted and part of it was eatten away. I had a dr scholls insole in there too for additional comfort. I could walk through the process but here's the brake down : i fixed the hole by pluging it with foam sealing with gorilla glue. Heat gunned it dry, compressing with card board wrapped around with rubber bands. I checked the hole it was water tight then proceeded to attach the replacement sole to the outer shoe insole with generous amounts of shoegoo on the rough side again wrapping the glued areas with card board and rubberbands for compression. I filled any gaps with excess foam which i dosed with additional glue. After the outer areas dried sufficiently i glued the inner insole down with gorilla glue. the insole basically in a short time broke of again due to friction so i glued it down a 2nd time. Additional patch work had to be done to fill gaps on the outer sole an replacement sole so i ended up filing it with gorilla glue but wasn't able to seal it up Nicely around the edges. I tested it out only doing one side initially and noticed a decernable balance vertigo caused by the height difference. I eventually got use to it after awhile but it was like i had a limp or something when i was walking So i ended up installing the replacement on both shoes to stabilize that effect. Overall the product does work but the effort required may not be worth it dependant on How much work is needed. I still wear these repaired shoes but now they act as my i don't care what happens to them shoes Lawn work, painting, construction, etc. Because the glue went all over the edges and there are areas where there are noticeable gaps with filler between the outer sole. Overall thoughts: If i was to attempt this again i would trim the replacements smaller than the outer sole rather than match the sides plumb. I'd try to find something better to use as a gap filler maybe an modable epoxy puddy or some kind of sandable cement rather than just randomly shoving in material to take up space. The compression method i used wasn't good enough either as the glue just poured out the edges and didn't hold a strong bond. I really recommend having a table vice grip setup before attempting this for constant even compression. I think i should have dammed it up with cardboard to prevent over flow kinda like when one pours concrete. The shoegoo sets up kinda fast in minutes so that was another problem getting it on the sole, then adjusting to correct fit, adding compression, fitting the gap filler plumb.. cost wise i spent about $30 for glue, extra fillers would cost more too, so it kinda depends what your shoes are worth to you as i could have bought a cheap new 2nd pair for that price.

Huge... really big
I'm not sure yet as I haven't started the repair yet. The sole supplies are big enough to fix sasquatch 's shoes so i'm sure I'll have to cut them way down. I'll update.

Great Value, Great Product.
These are great to give life to worn down soles. Will buy again. You may need to cut to fit your shoes, but this is a bargain. Perfect.

Terrible, don't buy
Didn't open the packaging until after the return period but this is completely not as described. You get only one pair not two, and the depth measurements listed for the sole and heel pieces are wrong. The heel is much too thin to be usable as a replacement it's 2mm not 3.5, and the sole protector is also thicker than they say it would cause balance issues using it.

so far, great!
had 2 pairs of boots, one with worn heels and 1 with cracked soles. so, bought one set of these soles to fix both boots. after reading other reviews, i purchased Barge rubber cement to adhere them, and clamped them overnight. i am wearing the ones with the repaired sole today, and they are doing great! more comfortable, still flexible, as good or better than when they were new. the soles were not hard to cut with a sharp scissors. will purchase again if i ever have the need , and will recommend!

Good quality
The size is too big to arg woman shoes, but you can cut it to any size you want. These rubber sole replacements would stop your boots from being slippery.

If you can get it to stick
It seems that it would be not bad if you can get it to adhere properly to the bottom of your shoes. I am worried that if you scuff a curb the sole will come off. Not too good if you don't have any glue handy. I started gluing my old shoes but decided in the end it was not worth it.
