Which is exactly what I wanted, although I am wearing dancers sock over my indoor shoes because my gym requires, we always have shoes on and enforces it. It just barely fits into the back seat of my 4-door sedan (I have the 10'x4'x2"). 8' long woulda worked out a lot better for me.I train front splits on this and slide down into it, was concerned my feet would catch where the sections are connected, total non-issue with that. I slide down fine and am working on sliding back up. This works much better for me than my yoga mat or plastic sliders that you just put your foot on. I am glad it is firm, any softer would not work out for what I am doing. Mine does have Velcro all around it and can be expanded.I have only trained on it once, but it works so much better than a yoga mat, very happy with my purchase. (I don't do yoga, I work on splits)

My PT told me to get a 1-1 1/2" thick mat to do my floor exercises and all the ones I saw looked flimsy. This one is 2", very comfortable, good quality, made of dense foam, folds up easily, and the carry handle makes it convenient. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent quality at very reasonable cost. As it's quite lightweight with well-designed handles, I took the mat to three Chicago sports/exercise equipment stores, along with the specs from the Amazon listing. Mats at those stores with the same measurements, covering and foam density as this brand cost from 50% to 120% to 190% more. This one is rugged, easy to fold and store, and does not slide on my hardwood floor. The listing states they are made with hook-and-loop fasteners to connect two or more; however, the two I received lack that feature. I would prefer that version, but ascribe the issue to either the boxes being improperly marked or items incorrectly binned at the warehouse. It is not a reason to decrease their rating. Highly recommended.

This is a great tumbling mat. My 2 year old loves pulling it out (it’s lightweight enough that she can move it herself) and showing off her tumbling (AKA falling, lol) skills. It’s really durable and has nice thick padding so she’s safe during her “floor routines.”

I am a 59 year old male, 5'7", and I sleep on this maybe once a week when my wife's twitching prevents me from sleeping. Folds up easily when not in use, but it is a little more firm than I'd like. Still, does the job and lets me get sleep when Wife v2.0 is tap dancing in her dreams.

I bought this to go with my daughter’s gymnastics bar. The thickness and durability was perfect to help keep her safe. I folded up nicely. I definitely would recommend.

I am 50+ years old and just love this mat. Most mats that are made these days are thin yoga mats and I was looking for something that has extra cushion not only because it's more difficult to get on my knees with older age but I recently incurred an ankle injury. I can now easily get on and off the mat easier and have so much more cushion to do stretches and exercises. It's really like the old school mats we had growing up when we had PE! I bought a really big one and it's also nice to fold it in half and have even double the cushion! I use this more and more because I love it so.
