Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection: Nine Lives Has The Black Cat (Marvel Amazing Spider-Man) Review: Great collection of stories! - These are some fantastic stories from Spider-Man's solid storylines. Issue 200 is good because Spidey finally confronts the robber who killed Uncle Ben again. Aunt May dies and comes back, Man-Wolf returns, Doctor Octopus shows up again, and of course, the Black Cat stories are here. All in all, these are strong and well worth reading. Some of the stories are pretty long on exposition (Jonah Jameson has this long-running storyline throughout almost the entire book that starts to get old after a while- you hate him, we get it), and Aunt May's "death" was retconned so fast it was obviously just a gimmick. But for the most part, these are action-packed and a lot of fun. Marvel still seemed to have a lot of love for the character at this time, and it showed with solid artists (including John Byrne inking an issue) and good villains. Black Cat's storyline at the end sort of fizzles out, but she makes up for it later when she comes back in later issues (which I hope they collect in the future). If you've ever wondered why folks love Spidey so much, read this one. Review: Spider-Man - Dear seller, I read the book and it is in great shape. Great to read if you're a Spider-Man fan.

Great Alternative Paperback
Great alternative paperback with great stories and good art. I wanted to purchase The Amazing Spiderman Omnibus Volume 6, which contains the same stories and book issues as this paperback, but the Omnibus had more issues and character stories that I don't care about nor which I like very much. This paperback is a great value alternative to that omnibus.
