A decent replacement.
My trusty old heavy duty shovel probably 80 years or more old finally became unusable when the handle broke. Not wanting the hassle of putting a new handle on and probably would have cost as much as this one, I went for this. First impressions, a lot lot lighter meaning less aches or a quicker job. Comfortable handle and just the right length. It tears through weeds and strong enough for rubble. I don't expect it to last like its predecessor but what modern day tool would? Pleased with it and would recomend it for the average household user.

Brilliant help with my gardening cheaper than DIY (q) centre had to get a new one i thought i had it stolen DON'T LAUGH it was in my greenhouse found it on the day it arrived

Happiness comes in spades
It arrived on time and packaged well in several layers of black plastic wrap which I can re-use. It is sturdy and very well made. I bought it for digging over a small veg plot and shovelling snow (if we get any) I am happy to recommend this spade as I am sure it will last a long time if it's looked after and cleaned after use.

Great value
Great for shovelling rubbish and such from the patio. Please don't get this confused with a spade, it's not for digging or groundwork, it's for picking up things only. Great value for money.

Not heavy duty
Not heavy duty as described, used a number of times and this would easily snap. Taken to only using this for easy shovelling jobs.
