Great little lens, great value for money, great picture quality
OK, I LOVE this lens. Always remember that you are paying a substantially reduced price when compared to a Nikon lens for example and so don’t expect the same results. Having said that, this lens is not bad at all. I see some have commented on the focussing problems and I wanted to address those issues: The first thing to note is that this lens is for cameras which have a MANUAL ONLY setting. If your camera does NOT have a fully manual setting, your camera will indicate that there is ‘no lens attached’. This is NOT a fault with the lens, it’s just that this lens (in common with, for example, the very long astro-photography lenses) only works in fully manual mode - this means you can alter aperture and shutter release and every other aspect of picture taking yourself, it is a manual lens. This is tricky if you’ve never used a manual lens before as we are all so used to turning the focussing ring or using ‘auto’ mode on our digital cameras that having to literally move about to focus can feel unnatural - you WILL get used to it! So, for me, I find the focussing dead on and very easy to use. But, as I said, be prepared to have to play with it a bit if you are new to fully manual lenses. The effects are superb and, so far, having just had a quick ‘go’ with it, I’m totally satisfied and pretty pleased as it was SO much cheaper than the Nikon alternative. In conclusion, I think it depends on what you’re hoping for. A Nikon lens it is not. But it’s a damned good lens regardless and, for the price, I think it’s a total steal, a really good bargain and excellent value for money. I totally love it. But do make sure your camera can cope with fully manual lenses. A bridge DSLR ‘may’ be OK, but check first. A fully digital camera, with no bridge or manual capacity, will not work. But, all those things above aside, it’s a lovely lens and I’m one happy customer! Thank you. :-)

Good looker, good quality, great performance.
A smooth and efficient ordering process as always! A very good looking professional lens which has been made to high standard. Great for photographers like myself who prefer a manual focus which is a fine art to master fully. The results are clear to see with crisp, bright images. Highly recommended if you are not attached to high end brands which cost the earth.

I wanted it for the specific type of photos that I can get with a fisheye lens and have been happy with the results so far
For the price, this is a lovely lens. I wanted it for the specific type of photos that I can get with a fisheye lens and have been happy with the results so far. It is completely manual so it's down to you to get the settings right. It is a little heavy, but feels like it is built well. Neewer is becoming my go to budget photography brand.

D5100 / D5300
My husband and I have two Nikon cameras - D5100 and a D5300. Before buying I noticed that the lens was being sold at a low price, yet by the same token it had some really good ratings and Youtube reviews. After initial trial of the lens, I must admit that I am actually really satisfied with the results. The workmanship of the product seems very good. Although exposure time on the camera and the aperture on the lens have to be adjusted manually, once you have mastered this, you can really take beautiful pictures with this fisheye and achieve nice image effects. At the moment I am still in the experimental stage but I am already happy about the purchase.

Does not focus
This is a fully manual lens, meaning that focus and aperture control is done by the photographer on the lens itself. The Nikon D7500 will therefore only fire in manual mode. This is file. The aperture ring works. The focus ring does not work: It will turn, but there is no visual difference in the picture taken whether it is turned to furthest or closest setting. There is also no visible movement inside the lens when turning the focus ring. I might try to take it apart in a clean room to see why, but I'm not having high hopes. Controlling focus is therefore done with aperture only, which is.. limiting is a nicer word than impossible.

Clear, crisp, bright, unique.
Delivery within one working day on priority delivery which was free for Prime customer. Lens is easy and quick to position and holds great. Tested and more than satisfied. It's just so much fun to work with the lens and the results really captivate me now to purchase and try out a macro lens with some more close-up shots. Back to the fisheye lens and, despite the wind, the test shots were a great success. Clear, crisp, bright.

Cheap and cheerful
You get exactly what you pay for, a cheap not very capable lens.

Very decent fisheye lens
Very decent entry level fisheye lens build quality is very good, they have a very nice weight to them and the manual focus is smooth and a pleasure to use. Photos are very bright and clear, would recommend to amateurs and more advanced photographers alike.
