Diamonds and Pearl (A Diamonds Novel, 1)

Kwan, man u know we lovz u, but why u leave me hanging like that? I am mad at you for that. The ending was like the beginning. I don't want to tell the story so just follow me because u know what I am talking about. Diamonds in the next book will have to kill Buda for sho because of the betrayal and everything else that has been happening. Next, will be Vita, because she isn't going to let him be with Pearl and live to tell about it. Otherwise than that this is a good read. Y'all one click this bihh. P.S. I need you to come on with the come on about Animals next body of work. Where the hell is Red Sonja and them kids? Please don't make us wait two years for this. I lovz u manz, but I need you to come on with it. U do excellent work and I truly enjoy u, but I need you to finish Animals story. Please do that for me. Peace, I'm out.

This story about Diamonds from the Purple City Novels put a new twist on his persona. Kwan presented Diamonds in this book in a way only a true G can! Vita, Goldie, Hank, and Buda are the new squad in his world of crime. If you like the Animal novels, although Animal isn't mentioned in this book, you'll love reading Diamonds and Pearl! Can't wait till part 2 drops and I hope that it's real soon and not the end of next year! Great read another classic!

Unleashed!!!! Full of Suspense!!!! This novel will definitely have you on "the edge of your seat." The characters are so authentic and colorful especially Diamonds and his crew members: Vita whose his "side chick" but make no mistake she 'a force to be reckon with when it comes to getting the paper.and there's no body she won't take down to make "it rain" for herself and the crew. Under the leadership of Diamond who has mapped out this plan to take out the biggest drug lord in New Orleans, and set-up shop in New York City. His crew is made up of the most ruthless gangster : Budda, Goldie, Hank, and many more. Once they arrive in New York Diamond realizes he must step-up his game in order to take over the major drug cartels, which he somehow outsmart in gaining there trust once he took out Pana Sanchez, the drug cartel of the Latin operation. The major cartels become very apprehensive in about who exactly is Diamond and could they be his next target. The plot thickens when Diamond comes up ghost among his crew members. and determine to locate him. That's when the crew members start to question each other's loyalty. Let the search begin!!! K'wan has a way with words that keeps his readers in suspense until the last page is read!!!! There definitely has to be a sequel. There's some loose-ends to this story that needs closure. K'wan is an author who never disappointments his readers!!!

This book did not disappoint. I know there’s going to be a part two, and I can’t wait!! Everything K’wan writes is gold.

I've read most of Kwan's books and the animal series is my favorite, even though some of the action scenes in the Animal series seem pretty unbelievable at times. With that being said, Diamonds and Pearls is by far the best book I've read by K'wan. Kwan has definitely elevated his game as an author, and in his genre of writing there is no comparison.

This book met all of my expectations and more. Kwan is a great story teller and writes well. I hated Diamonds from the very beginning. His heart and soul are completely black. I always figured that he would get everything that was coming to him, but at the very end, I found myself hoping that he would be able to get out of the pit he found himself in. Eventually, he has to return to hell because he's just that dark and evil, but before he goes, I'm hoping that he takes a few of his crew members with him. Can't wait for Part II.

This book is phenomenal. It felt like I jumped right into it . I can't wait till book 3. Book 2 was was great also when you pick it up it just seemed as it went straight to the point....

Well what can I say about this book. Just buy and and read it. Kwan does it again. We need to have the second book, because this isn't finished yet. Good plot, and back ground information, I don't want to say to much cause I don't want to spoil it for others.
