I am changing my review after 6 years of heavy usage. It is an electric tandoor, it is beautiful, I have made tandoori panner, tandoori kebabs, tandoori roti, litti, baati, cake, omelettes, bread toast... almost everything in this. when I buy naan or tandoori roti from restaurants I re-tandoor them here. I mix some dahi, baking soda and salt in my dough and then make tandoori roti using my Air Fryer. Pizza comes out good. this is a magic machine.. you need to get your hands set on it and make whatever you want. Buy it, use it, stop contemplating. And this one is durable. --Old review below-- Good to Have, Difficult to Use For example if you have to make a Samosa.. you still have to do dough, masala, making and folding of samosa and everything; it only air fries it and then some times it makes very dry samosas.. so you have to be careful with cooking time, temperature and all. Now lets say you are making tandoori chicken; you still have to get the chicken, marinate for 8 hours, mix masala and all and then this thing just cooks it. Ohh, it tandoors very very nicely!! You just have to be careful with time and keep brushing little little oil. Even 2-3 minutes of under and over cooking can kill the experience of food totally. Buy it, use it, but don't think you will completely stop ordering from Swiggy, Zomato and that Kabab Corner near your house.

Bought this for my parents. While the product itself is easy to use, quick and does what is supposed to, the quality of the paint job on the front panel is questionable. As you can see in the photo, the text wore off within two days of use. Now we just have to rely on memory as to which button is for what, or keep referring to the manual. That's a real shame. I've been reading a lot of reviews from other people about counterfeit products. I hope this one isn't from that batch.

I had been pondering on buying an airfryer for a long time. After a lot of research and reviews I opted for this. It is affordable and not too tight on the pocket. I have used it for over a month and have made both veg and well as no veg dishes. They come out well and its quick. Things like samosa, french fries etc may not taste exactly like the deep fried ones, but it is good. Saves oil and time

I have been using for five years now... We carry it for all of our trips with frozen snacks as well and have used it a LOT yet it has worked beautifully and is ready to clean still looks like new. Great product go for it.

Never ever buy anything from havells, they simply ignore your request for help, I bought an air fryer it simply didn’t work since day one and customer service says take a hike… says a lot about Amazon too

I bought this Havells Prolife Digi Air fryer from Amazon in July 2017 for Rs.9982/- after much contemplation whether to go for Philips 5220 or this. Unfortunately, the key requirement I chose this Havells air fryer instead of Philips is not fulfilled which I recognized only after getting the product: The requirement is that my wife wanted larger capacity. The Philips HD 9220 is 2.2 L of capacity which we found is small. We even went to a local retail to check the size. As Havells is advertising the capacity as 4 L, we went for this one which is almost the same cost. The main misleading point is that Havells says "Pan capacity of 4L", but we can't cook anything directly in the pan. The basket that goes into it in which we put the actual food ingredients is only 2.5 L. Hence, the actual effective capacity is only 2.5 L. Anyway, I couldn't see any other air fryer which offers capacity greater than this 2-3L range, hence retained the product. _____ PROs: ¯¯¯¯¯ 👍 Full digital - no manual rotatable knobs. Display of temperature and time makes it easy to configure instead of knobs. 👍 The touch of buttons is very smooth. So, can go for it as an alternative to Philips _____ CONs: ¯¯¯¯¯ 👎 The capacity of the basket is only 2.5 L. Havells is misleadingly advertising "pan capacity = 4 L" which can't be used for actual cooking. It's just for collecting excess oil during cooking. 👎 The operation manual is almost useless. They just changed the name and gave the Havell's old model's (one with the knobs) manual. So, you need to figure out the buttons usage yourself through experimentation. 👎 The name of the buttons is misleading. "Mode" is for temperature setting, "Timer+ and Timer-" are for timer settings. There is no concept of modes. I couldn't see any operation of "Call" button which even doesn't glow.

The touchscreen presents a slight inconvenience, particularly in the kitchen where we frequently handle with greasy hands, making it more challenging to operate. However, despite this drawback, the frying performance is impeccable. The food consistently comes out crunchy and perfectly fried.
