Feels and looks high quality, screen quality/resolution is very good, has 2 HDMI inputs to suit my needs and has a bonus of built in sound. It’s really easy to unbox and set up, the tiny bezels make it appear a lot smaller than it is and it has a really small desk footprint. It works seamlessly with my Dell Latitude laptop - automatically detected when connected. Not sure how good this would be for serious gaming, but suits casual gaming on my Nintendo Switch just fine. The only drawback is not being able to adjust position up and down, but because I’ve placed it on a monitor stand, that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. Overall, would definitely recommend, especially if it’s discounted as it was when I purchased it.

I am very happy with this monitor. Very good video quality. Even the sound is better than I expected. The only bad point is that doesn't match VESA arms.

Good picture quality at a sensible price

Bought this particularly because it has half decent speakers and, well, they are OK. Certainly good enough for video calls if combined with a webcam (note - this monitor doesn't come with a camera). However, within a month of purchase I'd already put one of my Sonos speakers in the same room as the monitor speakers are simply not good enough if you like music while you work and want half decent sound. To be fair, that's the case with any buit-in monitor speakers in my experience. Those on my previous, giant Z34C screen from work were probably slightly better. But that screen was too big for home use and costs hundreds - and were still not as good as my Sonos speakers. So I've no complaints really. Picture is nice and sharp too and the colour rendition is fine.

Perfect, good value item. Shame no built-in webcam. Speakers are a bit rubbish but that’s to be expected.

I bought this monitor to use with a new MacMini. The specification was very good and it has lived up to all my expectations. Up to now I cannot fault it in any way.

Great. Got for my job as a software architect but wanted something I could use when photo editing. If u r looking a technical diagrams, word, spreadsheets, web dev or any of that this is fabulous value for money. Photo editing....chromatic aberration on the blacks is noticeable BUT it’s so much better than editing on my MacBook Pro 13” screen. If you want ‘best’ quality and money is no object there are plenty of brands specialising in Photo editing monitors and enjoy paying £1k for them! But let’s be honest you’re reading this ‘cos you have a budget .....and this monitor is great value

I wanted a monitor with good built-in speakers, to eliminate desk clutter as much as possible. I don't game, but occasionally watch TV from my PC, so I wanted a clear picture and decent speakers. This Dell S2719H-S fit the bill perfectly. Controls are easy and there are preset buttons under the screen to make monitor changes to suit how you want it to look. The sound comes from my PC via HDMI, so no need to run an extra cable for sound. Bonus. Speakers are nice and clear thanks to Dell's MAXX audio setting which makes them sound much fuller when it's turned on. Without it, the speakers sound tinny, so I leave it on all the time. Dell also has an application on their website called "Dell Display Manager" which let's you further customize how the monitor behaves based on what applications you're running. My only gripe (and it's very minor) is how the monitor sits in it's stand. The monitor itself stays in place via gravity on the stand, and it's a bit wobbly if you try to tilt the monitor angle back or forth. Doesn't feel 100% secure but it is. If you're going to tilt the monitor do it from the bottom sides of the monitor, and not the top.
