This is real silk but definitely not 25 momme. If you’re looking for a heavyweight silk, look elsewhere. This is only slightly thicker than lining weight silk.

This product is awesome. I had a Chanel scarf that last me 30 years and I had to get rid of it because it started to get tattered. I looked around and came across this product. I laundered it, let it dry and this scarf is now my best friend. It stays on my head at night and my hair has not experienced any breakage. It does hold oil but not to the point your pillow is stained, My head is cool through the night whereas with the satin scarves and bonnets. My head used to sweat. I don't have a problem with this material. LOVE IT!!
