I’ve been using the Neakasa M1 open litter box for a few days now with my two cats, and it’s been a pretty good experience so far. What I Like It’s really spacious, which is perfect for my cats since they’re on the bigger side. The open design makes it easy for them to get in and out from any direction, and they adjusted to it quickly. Refilling litter is simple, and I liked that it came with waste bags and a double-layer litter mat—it felt like everything was included from the start. The smart control app is also a nice bonus. It’s easy to use and helps keep track of things without being complicated. What I Don’t Like The entrance is a bit high, which might not work well for smaller or older cats. A step would help, but since it’s sold separately, I just used something at home instead. Overall So far, both of my cats are comfortable using it, and cleanup has been easier. Not perfect, but definitely a solid choice—especially for multi-cat homes.

Another update: it hasn’t been a year and the waste bin full keeps going off. I’ve tried cleaning the sensors and everything. I would appreciate it if the company can contact me Update: the only thing about this machine is that sometimes the litter it falls in the back of the other side outside it doesn’t get dumped in the bin. The inside cover needs to be cleaned often cause it leaves residue. Setup was super easy even for me. I couldn’t clean the old litter box safely so this was a must. No more scooping 2 to 3 times a day, this machine does it all. I removed the old box and my cats adjusted instantly. If you're pregnant, busy or just over the mess, get this.

It is a very effective auto litterbox I have after all. I already have 2 other box with me for a year now which is Petree and Tonepie and then I saw so many good reviews/videos about this type. Finally have decided to purchase it on sale here in Amazon. Price was super discounted which was a plus for me, you just have to wait for the offers to launch. Let me specify the pros/cons of this type of auto litterbox: 1. Cat recognition - the app is so fancy, you can add photo, bday, gender, and weight so the system can recognize who among of the cats that have just been to the box. Very smart indeed! 2. Waste bin - Large enough, i think 6-7 of my cats is using this box and I had to clean the bin between 3-4days. 3. Odor control - the only bin that I have which has its automated waste bin door, so odor is fully covered. It closes and opens only when it is on a cleaning cycle, no smell is coming out at all. I can easily compare it with my other litterbox which sometime odor is noticeable whenever the waste bin is almost full. 4. General cleaning - super easy and very basic. Just remove the tray, spray some cleaner and water, brush all over it and put it in under the sun to dry. 5. Good for long haired or big cats - the open top design is lit! Well thought and i think is made by a geniuses. Meanwhile, I will leave my 1 star deduction based on the below con's which you can ignore if does not concern you (case to case): 1. Not designed for muti type of cat litter - it is not effective for tofu litter, wood clumping litter, or any other litter that don't have weight. Coz it won’t sift properly and will get stuck in the sifter. I am not using a bentonite or clay litter for my Cats health benefits, so I had to purchase a cassava grade litter from a local Hide and Seek supplier that I know. Now if you are using bentonite or Clay then Neakasa M1 definitely works great for you. 2. Its high in terms of height and needs a lot of space - if you still have a lot of space at home for this box, then no need to worry about it. If your cat is not differently abled then this is not a con’s for you, nothing to worry in short. Why I have to mention it, is because I have struggled to find a place in our house for this box but i did found by the way. Also, I have a 3 legged rescued cat which is a bit challenging for her to use this box, so she uses my other box with low clearance even after getting this. Overall, I am so happy for this purchase and will buy for another 1 once there is a promo again next time. Thank you seller and all the best.

I recently got the Neakasa M1 and I’m honestly so impressed. The design is sleek and minimal; it looks more like a piece of furniture than a litter box, which I love. It’s also super quiet, even during cleaning, and the app is very intuitive and easy to use. I started with manual mode at first to let my cats get used to it, and the transition has been smooth so far. Cleaning is quick, mess-free, and way more hygienic than any litter solution I’ve used before. It’s also easy to disassemble and clean when needed. Overall, it’s been a great addition to our home. It’s smart, efficient, and definitely worth the investment if you want something that looks good and makes life easier!

one of our cats always went outside to use litter as we have lots of green areas near our house but since the new litter box, our cat has stopped going outside just to use the litter. both my cats are sharing the litterbox and both are really satisfied as i can see it myself. it is pricey but its worth it. also, the cat litter smell is gone. we have been changing litter bag on weekly basis

I bought the first one a year ago and I loved it, the second one is a disaster the substitute the doors that seal the disposal compartment for "sealed brushes " the smell is awful it doesn't seal at all, stinks all over the place.

New (7 months): This is such a glitchy machine. Just look at the support group on Facebook. Recently, mine and apparently many others’ has started giving a “bin full” error despite the bin being empty, sensors being clean, bag smoothed out, etc. Support is useless and won’t provide a useful solution. I am a week into back and forth emails, to no avail. There is no way to hard reset this thing. So it’s useless because the programming is bad. On the day-to-day side, the liner is hard to clean. Mine has litter cemented to it. It’s otherwise in fine condition. I feel like a hard plastic liner would be just fine instead of this flimsy silicone. It works well enough for old style litter boxes. It’s a pain to get balanced just right so it won’t dump litter. The weighing feature is useless if you have cats of similar weights, and it sometimes gives totally off-kilter weights. There isn’t a way to view cat data over time, so it’s more novelty than health monitoring. You can see use throughout the day but it’s not graphed or anything to show trends. I’m just going to get the original Litter Robot I think. The physical design of this is great, but the programming and support are abysmal. Old: I have four cats. This is a lifesaver. Very pleased. Just wish the waste drawer were redesigned a little bit so the bag feels more securely tucked in. - The title was basically my biggest concern buying one of these: will my jumbo children fit? And they do! I have one maine coon-looking rescue mix (16lbs lean and super long/tall) and one that’s just lorge (16lbs fat but also long and tall). I’ll admit it’s not the same as the massive traditional litter pan I have as their backup, but this does cut down on the litter labor by a lot. If I go a day without cleaning the old pan, they’ll happily use the Neakasa because it’s clean all the time. My smaller/normal sized cats took to it without issue. One was a bit nervous, but I just topped the Neakasa off with some of the litter from the old pan. It brought the familiar stank to the new pan, and now everyone’s using it. On the note of cleaning, I love how the schedule can be adjusted. My cats tend to potty one after the other; it is a family affair to them. So I set the self-cleaning to occur 30 minutes after a cat exits. My one semi-gripe would be the waste drawer. The waste tends to pile up on one side, so it’ll alert as full when it’s really not. Just shake it and it’s fine another couple cycles. Personally, I’d like it if the drawer were a little deeper, as there’s plenty of clearance with the legs in place. The rim is its biggest pain point; it’s a grippy rubber strip that the bag folds over, and it’s a little awkward to handle. I’m always nervous putting the drawer back in that the bag is getting pushed off the rim. It would help if the bag were more recessed into the rim of the drawer, with the slider edges set above the bag attachment. Or maybe a clip on the far end to hold that more securely. I may play with it and see if I can easily DIY something there. Calibrating was hard because I couldn’t really see the measurement lines on the inside of the machine to measure out 100% capacity. But I improvised and it works. The app is not especially well translated, but it does the job and tracks usage very nicely. There are a couple instances every day or two where it seems to measure a cat weighing only a few pounds using the box, which is much smaller than any of mine. I assume it’s just the cats only going half inside to check it out though. They’re fascinated whenever the clean cycle runs. No major complaints, though. It makes my life easier and accommodates my big babies.

Sono molto soddisfatta fella lettiera Neakasa M1. Il montaggio è stato rapidissimo, e anche il collegamento alla rete wifi è stato veloce dopo avere scaricato l'apposita app, davvero molto intuitiva e chiara nei passaggi da seguire. Noi abbiamo due gatti, Brio di 4 kg e Leo di 4,4 kg. Si sono adattati subito, essendo molto curiosi dopo qualche minuto erano gia dentro accovacciati, padroni del nuovo schiavo robotico. Per velocizzare la confidenza noi abbiamo aggiunto alla sabbia nuova un po di sabbia "pulita " presente nella vecchia lettiera automatica. Dopo una settimana di utilizzo abbiamo verificato che per due gatti la lettiera arriva al suo massimo di autonomia come contenimento rifiuti, oltre i 7 giorni è necessario svuotare il sacco. Il sistema comunque funziona perfettamente, quando il sacco rifiuti è pieno le notifiche arrivano puntuali al proprio telefono. Così come la notifica di richiesta rabbocco sabbietta quando insufficiente. La pulizia è automatica e si può programmare di eseguirla da un minuto dopo la rilevazione dell'uscita del gatto fino a quando si preferisce. Secondo la nostra esperienza consigliamo 10 minuti, in modo che la sabbia abbia il tempo di agglomerarsi e gli escrementi di "consolidarsi" Degna di nota l'estrema silenziosità della macchina durante il ciclo di pulizia. Tuttavia, ho notato alcuni problemi. I miei gatti essendo molto curiosi cercano di interagire con la lettiera quando non dovrebbero, ad esempio quando è in fase di pulizia o svuotamento. Adorano guardare la sabbia passare attraverso i buchi del setaccio ritornare pulita nella conca. Però un po troppo da vicino sedendocisi dentro e grattando sulla grata per far uscire la sabbia... Devo quindi lasciare la pulizia in manuale e provvedere quando i due folletti pelosi sono occupati in altre faccende, chiudendomi dietro la porta della stanza oppure da remoto quando tramite le telecamere per fortuna già precedentemente installate non li vedo nelle vicinanze. Leo essendo un gatto di grande statura e molto forte riesce addirittura ad aprire il cassetto dei rifiuti puntando le zampe sdraiato sotto la lettiera. Suggerisco di aggiungere un sistema di blocco più sicuro per il cassetto dei rifiuti, magari con uno scatto più incisivo. Inoltre, ho notato che l'app fa fatica a distinguere i gatti che entrano nella lettiera se hanno un peso simile. Questo può essere un problema se si hanno più gatti con pesi simili, poiché non è possibile monitorare correttamente le loro abitudini. Nel complesso, sono molto soddisfatta della lettiera Neakasa M1, ma credo che con alcune migliorie potrebbe essere ancora più efficace e sicura anche per dei gatti pazzi (rossi) come i miei. Wir nutzen das Neakasa M1 jetzt seit mehreren Monaten und sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden damit. Das Highlight für uns ist ganz klar die hervorragende Geruchsversiegelung: Selbst nach mehreren Tagen im Einsatz riecht man absolut nichts. Im direkten Vergleich zu unserem zweiten Klo, dem Pawbby P1, ist das ein echter Unterschied – dort kommt es deutlich häufiger vor, dass unangenehme Gerüche entstehen, obwohl wir regelmäßig reinigen. Das Neakasa M1 nimmt uns im Alltag richtig viel Arbeit ab. Die automatische Reinigung funktioniert zuverlässig und leise. Auch bei mehreren täglichen Toilettengängen bleibt alles sauber. Die App ist übersichtlich gestaltet und bietet praktische Funktionen – man sieht z. B., wie oft das Klo genutzt wurde, wann der Auffangbehälter voll ist oder wenn mal etwas nicht stimmt. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, das Design modern und unauffällig. Es passt super in unsere Wohnung und sieht nicht wie ein typisches Katzenklo aus. Auch unsere Katze hat es sofort angenommen, was uns ehrlich gesagt überrascht hat – sie ist da sonst eher wählerisch. Die Entleerung des Auffangbehälters ist schnell erledigt und hygienisch. Auch das Nachfüllen mit Streu geht unkompliziert. Insgesamt macht das Neakasa M1 genau das, was es soll, und das auf einem wirklich hohen Niveau. Für uns ein richtig gelungenes Produkt, das den Alltag mit Katze spürbar angenehmer macht. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die ein zuverlässiges, geruchsdichtes und modernes Katzenklo suchen!

Ik gebruik deze kattenbak nu een paar maanden en ben zeer tevreden. Mijn grotere kater wilde niet in een ander gesloten (en goedkoper) model, met de open bovenkant van deze bak is dat geen issue. Soms ligt hij zelfs in het schone grind te slapen. De kwaliteit van de Neakasa is een stuk beter, makkelijker schoon te maken en te vullen in vergelijking met de andere gesloten automatische kattenbak die ik heb. De oude staat er nog wel maar de katten gebruiken hem niet meer Een paar voordelen die ik heb ervaren: Van 3 bakken naar 1: Met twee katten die niet naar dezelfde bak wilden (en dan een protestplas naast de bak gingen doen, ondanks het dagelijkse schoonmaken) is dit een hele opluchting. Ze willen nu _eindelijk_ dezelfde bak gebruiken. Minder kattenbakvulling: Het gebruik van grind is drastisch verminderd, wat scheelt in kosten en gesjouw. Gebruiksgemak: Het legen en vervangen van de opvangzak gaat makkelijk en soepel. En geen vieze lucht meer waar ik steeds met mijn neus boven moet hangen. Schoonmaken is ook eenvoudiger omdat er geen vastgeplakte resten in de bak zitten. App: Hoewel de app leuk en stabiel is, zie ik het meer als een gimmick. De gebruiksstatistieken zijn niet heel nuttig als je katten ongeveer even zwaar zijn. Als hij vandaag stuk zou gaan, zou ik morgen meteen een nieuwe kopen.
