SUUNTO CORE ALL BLACK

I have been using a Suunto Vector for the past several years and bought the Suunto Core All-Black as an upgrade. This is a fantastic watch with much more intuitive, easy-to-use features, modes and settings menus. The watch has a larger display than the Vector. Build quality is excellent. It feels solid and looks great. The altimeter, barometer and compass are very accurate. The compass is calibrated by simply rotating the watch every once in a while. There is a function setting that can switch between altimeter and barometer profiles automatically, depending on usage, which is very useful. The watch also has a button lock, to prevent accidental display changes, which is very useful. Perhaps the only slight drawback is that the display is a little dim. The backlight is understated, but bright enough.

I was looking for an all weather, sports/casual watch with functions like barometer and compass, and I found this watch ticking all the checkbox. Pros and cons are listed below. Pros: 1. Attractive 2. Accurate barometer. 3. Accurate altimeter. 4. Accurate compass. 5. Good quality straps. 6. Water resistant till 50 m. 7. Sunrise/Sunset almanac. 8. Weather alert. Cons: 1. First impressions : features like altimeter and barometer seem to be easy to use and the weather trend indicator/ storm indicator is particularly helpful. Build seems solid. Was easy to set up as well. Good delivery by Amazon. Hopefully battery life with average usage should be about 15 months. Overall good looking watch and recommended purchase!

Amazing watch and amazing service by amazon. Well packaged and really really happy to receive my dream watch replacing it with my expedition ws4. Took it to the himalayas in the first week and readings are accurate and the watch just looks beautiful. Hope amazon adds this watch's batteries for sale.

The watch was exactly as advertised. In the last month I've used it underwater, in snow and at altitudes varying from sea level to 18000+ ft above and it performed exactly as expected. You need to read the manual and get familiar with the features to know what it is supposed to do. Do not expect it to tell you the correct altitude unless you have set the reference correctly or you have access to the correct air pressure at sea level at your location. However, if you set a reference level and want to see how much you have climbed or gone down from there, it's great.

The worst watch I have ever bought. The battery is dead before 6 months. There are water droplets inside the watch and I have never used it under water for any sort of activity like swimming. The biggest mistake made by me that I bought this watch. Please don't buy it.

Awesome...great build quality as usual....great features and great looks.....the best which rules for big time.

If you have excess use and mostly outdoors then it is not military watch for you. Strap tend to break and not available in India easily. I've spent 15k on watch but of no use as strap broke in just 1 year of use. Go for casio or garmin.

Typical Suunto, if there is such thing. This is my second Suunto and so no surprises on my part. Well built, quite rugged and all around easy to wear. This is a larger watch but not ridiculously large. I like larger watches so that does not bother me. Easy to read even at dusk. Backlight is a bit dicky (can't quite explain best look it up on YouTube). That's definitely not something I like or appreciate about this watch. Still, it is a fairly easy watch to read even in low light conditions so I can see past that. Certainly not regretting adding it to my collection of watches.

Lo que más confusión me ha generado es la información que Amazon da de este reloj en la página de su venta. Al final no sabes lo que estás comprando y esto como experiencia de comprador no es muy buena. Dice la página de venta de Amazon que la carcasa es de acero inoxidable y el cristal de zafiro, cuando es carcasa material compuesto (algún tipo de plástico resistente supongo o no sé) el bisel de aluminio, y cristal mineral, pero no de zafiro. Lo podéis comprobar en la web de Suunto. También hay una tabla de comparación de relojes donde dice que el Suunto Core All Black tiene Altímetro GPS y tecnología FusedAlti que combina datos de GPS y presión atmosférica para calcular altitud, lo cual tambien confunde bastante, porque tiene altímetro barométrico unicamente, y en realidad no esta así mal porque sin GPS (que yo no lo quiero en un reloj) la pila dura mucho más y permite su reemplazo facilmente por el usuario, pero otra vez la información confunde mucho. Tambien dice en la tabla de comparaciones que la batería dura 20 horas, cuando no es así. La web mezcla información errónea con información certera y al final si el usuario no conoce este reloj o no busca en la web del fabricante, no puede saber que está comprando. Por favor Amazon, cuidar estos detalles para mejorar experiencia de compra. Por lo demás, es un buen reloj y la pantalla en mi opinión se ve bastante bien (que hay mucha polemica sobre esto en foros opiniones). No quiero GPS en un reloj, ni que esté conectado a todo y me e la brasa con menajes e historias varias, para eso ya tengo bastante con el teléfono móvil. Que tenga brújula, profundimetro (hasta 10 m), alarmas, cronómetro, termómetro, altímetro barométrico, barómentro anaeroide, y sea resistente fisicamente y resistente al agua, permita su cambio de pila facilmente y me de la hora, me basta y me sobra para un reloj. Me quedo un poco con las ganas de que tuviera cristal de zafiro que es más duro que el mineral por haber leido esl en la info de Amazon, pero ya he comprendido que son datos erróneos. De momento soy anti smart watch, modas... La gente tiene que vivir y vender cosas en sus empresas... Cuando sus baterías duren un año a lo mejor me lo planteo. Saludos
