Fun game for all, and overall an amazing series of boardgames. Must have for anyone that likes collaborative gameplay. Its has easy and hard variations and easily replayable.

We have all of the versions of this game and they're all great. Despite being essentially the same game, the different monsters add factors that make them replayable over and over without getting boring. The monster figures are highly detailed and very fun, and the artwork is exceptional.

I recommend any and all of the Horrified series! We own 4 of them and play them all of the time. I especially love that this version can be combined with Greek Monsters to let you mix & match heros and monsters. Though I have to say Universal Monsters is my personal favorite of the series. If you do not yet own any of these, I suggest starting there. Also, you pretty much can't go wrong with any Ravensburger game. Their design, quality, and box organization are all top notch!

Very fun game, gameplay is fun and fast paced. The characters and powers are unique and useful. The cooperative aspect of the game makes for a great game night.

Great gift for a friend. They enjoyed it and it was all it promised to be. They even brought it out several times when we all had Game Nights together.

Horrified is our favorite cooperative board game. The game has a small learning curve when first playing each monster. The game is fun due to the challenge of defeating monsters while saving citizens before running out of cards. The board and games parts are quality parts. My 9 and 10 year old grandchildren love the discussion required to win this cooperative game.

While a fun--and difficult in a good way--addition to the Horrified series, some muddled rules, along with a 33% reduction in monsters, takes a bit of the bite out of the game. Hard-core fans will enjoy this more than the casual crowd.

After having played Horrified: Universal Monsters, I wanted more so I bought this one. Out of all the other versions of this game, not including the original, this one was the best. Much more challenging than the original.

I picked up Horrified: World of Monsters after doing a lot of research on co-op games that play well with two players and aren't too rules-heavy. My wife had been asking for a co-op experience, and the Horrified series kept coming up as a top recommendation. After weighing between the original Horrified: Universal Monsters, Greek Monsters, and this one, I ultimately chose World of Monsters—and I'm glad I did. This latest installment not only offers the same solid co-op mechanics the Horrified series is known for, but also includes cross-compatibility with Greek Monsters and likely future expansions, which gives it great long-term value. The steampunk aesthetic appealed to me more than the Greek mythology theme, and as an Asian gamer, I loved seeing the Jiangshi featured among the monsters—it added a nostalgic touch. Pros: 1. Great price point. 2. Rules are approachable, making it a fantastic gateway game for newer players. 3. Plays smoothly with two players, and the cooperative gameplay is engaging without being overwhelming. Cons: 1. The game includes only 4 monsters, which is a bit limited. However, for the price and cross-compatibility, it's still a good value. 2. Some rule clarity issues, particularly with Stage 2 of Cthulhu. We found answers on BoardGameGeek, and it didn’t detract from our enjoyment—we just opt to stop at Stage 1 if we want a simpler game. Overall, I highly recommend World of Monsters as an excellent entry point into the Horrified series and the board gaming hobby in general. Great for casual players and couples looking for a thematic and cooperative experience.
