Review: Must-have for every woman - This is a great product, and every woman should start using it instead of sanitary napkins. It is environmentally friendly (no harmful waste generated every month), no recurring cost every month, good for you (no artificial / chemical-laden sanitary pads / tampons), extremely comfortable (as compared to sanitary pads / tampons). I have even kept it inside for up to 12 hours sometimes without any problems, when I've had a long day at office. There is a definite learning curve, so don't give up after a couple of cycles of discomfort and/or leakage. The first cycle, it was so painful that I was about to give up. It's just the commitment I had to eliminate the harmful garbage generated each month that kept me on it. Also, I had not yet got the hang of opening it up fully inside, so there was leakage. A couple of hints - no sharp and long nails at least for the index finger, middle finger and thumb of the hand you use to insert it. To avoid leakage, after you insert it, keep rotating it till you feel a sort of pop that indicates that it's opened up fully. Then I verify it by rotating a couple more times. When it is fully opened, it glides inside easily while rotating and you can also feel with your fingers that it's fully opened up. If this is not done properly, then it causes the leakage issues many ladies have mentioned. Initially it took more than 15 minutes each time to clean it up and re-insert it. Now I'm done in less than 5 minutes. I also needed to trim the stem based on my comfort level. It's so comfortable that most of the days I don't even notice it's there. I do zumba, gym, yoga (no upside down poses of course), hiking etc. without any problems. Long working days and complete night sleep (even 9 hours) without any issues. Depending on your flow, you can remove, wash and clean with soap and reinsert. I've even done this sometimes in my office bathrooms. On my single heavy flow day, if it's a working day, I use an additional cloth pad just so that I don't have to worry about the leakage. I recommend each and every woman to try this, and stick with it past the initial learning curve. Trust me, you'll thank me for it later. Review: Good product. - I am writing this review after using it for my first cycle. The first day was a disaster, messy, painful and I had no clue what was happening. I set out to make sure I was doing everything right, since this is so new a concept, I am the first one in all my circle to use it. After going through in-depth videos and literature online I can confidently say I know how to use it. I am satisfied. It promises 12 hours of holding capacity, which proved false in my first two days of heavy flow. it lasted me about 5 odd hours. Maybe third day onwards it's going to last longer. I had to empty it thrice. But it is a remarkable product since I feel no irritation maybe because this is devoid of chemicals and the feel is amazing. I suggest this is a much needed product, and I hope more and more women embrace it. And educate themselves to use it to the best of their convenience. Buy it and you won't regret it.

How did i just find out about this?!
Honestly, I don't know how I didn't know about this before! Every girl I've ever known has complained about their period but how is it that nobody knows about this?? This thing has completely changed the way I think about my period. I used to plan holidays around the date. Plan sleepovers so they don't collide with it. Worry about changing in the middle of exams! Constantly worry about stains. Ah so much paranoia. The cup, changes everything. Trust me, don't think twice. Just get it already! 1. You save a butt load of money on sanitary napkins and tampons. 2. Causes no harm or side effects to health. No rashes, no toxic shock syndrome, no nothing. I should know. Got the most annoyingly sensitive skin. 3. You're saving the environment. We can all do our part! 4. It is so comfortable. You don't even feel it at all. It's so comfortable you begin to get weirdly attached to your cup. And listen if you're thinking twice about this because you're worried it'll make you lose your virginity or that it might stretch you out down there or something like that, haha don't. It definitely does not stretch out because we already have that much space there and as for the virginity thing. It's just a thing we humans made up. I mean, see. The hymen doesn't even completely cover the vaginal opening to be honest (unlike common belief). I'm serious haha Google it. So if you're thinking about this seriously and you're comfortable with your own body enough to do yourself a huuuuge favour, I say please go ahead with it already! About time we got the freedom all those silly pad ads promise us :) P.S. Literally took me a day to get the hang of it so don't worry, it's not rocket science :)

Best ever product for periods.
This is best product I have ever used for periods. Never knew periods can be so comfortable. I have a daughter and i am so happy that i have learnt about this cup so periods will be never a tension for her like me. From cloth to pad to tempons and finally i am settled with this cup. Less pain, no worry of changes, no environment harm, no worry of where to throw like pads, nice bath without seeing blood in periods. It definitely has a learning curve which will take some 4-5 period cycles. With this i had ordered clothpads also in case of accidents. So I have totally eco friendly periods now. But once u learn to use it properly, you wont be needing any pads. I use them only outside the home now.

I have the periods but the cup has the mood swings
I am 30+yrs old but I haven't had childbirth. I ordered the 30+yrs size but they sent me the upto 30yrs one, and I couldn't return it due to the no-return policy. I have used it for two of my cycles. The problem is the same. On some days, it worked perfectly and there was not a drop of spill...in fact, on my last period, I was on my 1st and 2nd day and due to the heat n sweat, had terrible rashes, so actually went underwear-less using just the cup till the painful rashes subsided...not a bit of leakage...and then on other days, it leaked profusely... Sometimes, it refuses to open up fully inside me, and at other times the suction breaks when I'm walking or sitting on a low stool/sofa. I was lucky I wore a pad as backup during these times. This phenomenon is not specific to a heavy or a light flow day. It's just happens. One of the days it opened but the cup was ahead of my cervix...and so the blood was leaking out from the sides. Is the cup too soft? Are my pelvic muscles too firm? Is my cervix too low? Is the cup not the right size?(but then I wouldn't have enjoyed the spill-free days, no?)...is it not the right shape for me? or is it the learning curve... I don't know. The silicone material is good, soft, not at all painful, and there's no discomfort with the cup by itself. Once inside, could barely feel it.

DON'T BUY AT ALL
I wish I could give half star to it. Totally false reviews, whatsoever are positive. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money on this product. No doubt, it came in a box, with a nice packing, and amazon delivered it on time as well. But, the silicon used is so thick, that firstly, I couldn't believe that it needs to be inserted inside me, I mean, how this thick material would go inside body. But still I tried. You never know, you can be wrong at times. 1. The upper ring is so thick, that it resists totally to enter your body, even if you try hard, squeeze it, try to press it as hard as possible, but all in vein, because, it is damn thick. 2. Whole material is a thick silicon, it should be of thin material, because it needs to enter your vagina. 3. I tried every possible position, to insert it, but nothing was helpful. Instead, I hurt myself in the process, because, I tried pushing it hard inside me, so that any how, it enters, and then may provide comfort. If all the cups are of this material are so much thick, then I feel, tampons are much much better than these. And the other bad experience, The instruction paper is of cheapest quality with cheapest ink, and no proper images. For a first timer, like me, that instruction set paper is not quite sufficient. They have explained about the product in the whole, and just 2 lines about how to insert, and 2 lines about how to remove. I wish I could exchange it, but you know, its not possible for such kind of product. Overall, bad, worse, worst experience. Another word would be-HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

since I started using those napkins I invariable get bad rashes every month near my vaginal area
I am a heavy bleeder and usually buy the largest sanitary napkins (Whisper) available in India. However, since I started using those napkins I invariable get bad rashes every month near my vaginal area. Unfortunately, none other napkins suited my needs and I gave up on tampoons after my painful first experience and reading about the Toxic Shock Syndrome. However, after a lot of research and introspection I finally ordered this menstrual cup and I am really happy I tried it. In my first use there was slight uncomfortable feeling for the first 2 days, esp. while inserting it and taking out. However, once I got used to it I dint feel much problems in the next 3 days. Most wonderful part was it did not leak at all except for one day when I guess I couldn't place it properly. I think its one of the best contemporary inventions for women and not only are they relatively safer than tampoons and even chemical-loaded sanitary napkins but are also environmental friendly and value-for-money in longer run. The only thing it needs is little bit more care and proper disinfection.
