Great little machine.
This was at a good price, so far so good. Bit of a learning curve with Windows 11. Light and easy to move it around in my busy lifestyle. Satisfied with battery life and performance. Not able to connect to my older printer - Canon MG3250. So purchased a newer printer for around €40 last week. All is well that ends well.

Buy with confidense, it's a great computer.
A great laptop. Powerful and reasonably priced. Seems to play games very well.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
I have been a loyal HP customer (and Amazon) for over 20 years, relying on their laptops for my small business. My previous HP Envy was a solid, high-quality machine that served me well for four years before showing signs of wear. Naturally, I chose HP again, expecting the same standard of reliability. Unfortunately, this HP 14” model has been nothing short of a disaster. From day one, the build quality was a disappointment—cheap plastic feel and lacking a touchscreen, which was not made clear in the product listing. The connectivity is also poor: the USB-C port does not support data or video output, and even HDMI does not function as data connection with my Samsung M8 monitor, making video calls impossible. More concerning was the fan, which was noticeably active even during light use. I initially ignored it, but just a couple of weeks in use, the laptop overheated and crashed completely. To make matters worse, HP refuse to assist me because I am currently in the UAE, even though the laptop was purchased in the UK. Their policy states they won’t provide support if the device is outside the country of purchase —completely unacceptable for a global brand. Adding insult to injury, I discovered there was no warranty included—how is HP even allowed to sell "brand new" laptops without a warranty? And now, because I am just five days past the return window, I am left with an expensive, faulty device and no recourse. For £529.99 (supposedly reduced from £722), this purchase has been a complete waste of money. If you’re considering this laptop, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. HP has seriously let its loyal customer down.

Great but not Touchscreen
Bought it at £449 on Black Friday and now £700 so a great price. It is NOT touchscreen. Shame as a good feature. Just been offered £90 refund so will keep it. Seems a good bit of kit

dont listen to the other reviews - Decent enough (no I am not from HP or Amazon)
The battery lasts about 2 hours on full power, unlike what some said. The sound quality is amazing. The mouse pad works well no issues. The screen is also very good a cute 14 inches. The performance is very powerful graphics card will run some older titles well. Same performance as Nvidia Quadro 2000m Keyboard has no keypad, so heads up (not full size) Overall, yes, like this little laptop, especially sound quality reminds me of Apple Mac Book for sound.

Battery life is poor
The laptop itself is fine - I have had no issues with set up and using it, however, the battery life is dreadful, even when set to energy saver. I knew it was poor, but two days ago I was on a Teams meeting - it started on 71% and after 30 mins it was at 38%. It certainly doesn't last 8 hours. I guess I shall have to take the charger with me everywhere. Also it appears that the warranty is only 9 months. I have taken this up with HP but got nowhere.
