This could be the cheapest branded mic. But there are several non branded mics at far lower prices with good reviews. If you feel branded is safe, go for this. Design is a matter of taste. Sound quality, recording and noise cancelation is obviously excellent. One issue you're gonna come up against is a lack of availability of spare parts. Please bear in mind that you'll inevitably have to buy a separate stand for this. The stand that comes with this isn't that sturdy and actually too small for any practical use. You will either have to always hold your mic, which means hand ache and an inconsistent sound; or you will have to put a pile of books or some such in front of you to raise your mic to your mouth level, which means danger of the mic falling over. You cannot bend down at an impossible angle to speak into this mic. Nothing works. I've even tried sitting on the floor and keeping the mic on the chair. You'll inevitably have to buy a separate stand. Now you'll realize that very cheap stands are a danger to your mic. I bought a stand with 500 bucks but reasonably good reviews. Then I hit upon a new problem. Most mics can fit any mic stands. But not this one. The screw hole for this mic is a unique dimension that mic stand screws don't adhere to. I didn't find any floor mic stands or longer desk stands. I just found boom arms. You'll have to buy one of those. You will then realize that you also need to buy a screw adapter 3/8 inches to 5/8 inches in order to fit your mic stand to your mic. You will then realize that no seller at your nearest electronic stores is selling this screw adapter. You will find exactly one Amazon seller for this screw adapter, after searching all over the internet. This seller can take down this product at any time. So you'll have to quickly buy this screw adapter. You'll notice that this seller does not even specify what metal this screw adapter is made of. He just says metal. But you'll buy it anyway, because you have no other choices. This little component costs Rs.500 by the way, and the seller claims it is imported without specifying any details about the product. Your other option is to buy more expensive boom arms that already come with this connecting screw and various other components and accessories. No such option is available on Amazon or any other Indian platform. Your only option is to import this item from platforms like ubuy. Customs, shipping, etc. Included the cost will come at least to Rs.7000. Not to mention the documentation and follow up hassles you will have to endure through the whole process. Ubuy doesn't clear customs for you. All that is your job. Bottomline: if you buy this mic, you will either end up spending far more on an imported boom arm or you will buy a cheap boom arm and a cheap untrustworthy component from a shady seller. But you'll buy a boom arm for sure. Great mic though. You could still find that you're in love with its design and performance. Totally your call.

Amazing Microphone from Snowball and it is one of the best mic in budget.

I bought this mic after a lot of research as I was starting tech reviews on Youtube. To check out the unboxing experience and quick look, follow the links below- Hindi- [...] English- [...] I received this mic within 4-5 days of placing the order, & considering the fact that this mic is shipped from the US, I would have to say that the delivery was very snappy. The mic is quite heavy and is build quality is top notch. There is no set up required as the mic is a simple plus and play type mic. It draws power from the single USB cable which plugs in directly to your Mac or PC and makes it that much easier to get right into recording the audio. This does mean that you can run the audio through an audio interface. But if you dont want to invest too much into audio, then you probably arent looking into getting an audio interface so it should be fine. It has a cardioid polar pattern which means that its sound pickup is unidirectional. This helps reduce picking up unnecessary background sounds while recording. The Good- 1. Sound Quality 2. Build Quality 3. Easy/No Setup The Bad- 1. Tiny Stand (in the box) 2. Cardioid Polar pattern- can't be used for recording voice of multiple people Overall, I feel this is a great mic starting off Youtube, or wish to record their vocals. Previously I have used three Microphones (Generic Dynamic, AKG, Sound KIng Beta) They were just ok type to me as I am an You Tuber "Android Mechanics". But when I got the Blue Snowball Ice, It really changed my mind. When I used for the first time, The Recorded Voice quality was so good that I myself didn't believed that it was recorded by me! It was really mind blowing for me and the best thing which I like about this is the Clarity of its recording that too without any Editing. If you are looking for a good mic for Recording Karaoke Songs or If you are an You Tuber like me then this Recorder will surely surprise you. The Blue Snowball iCE will give the best performance If you are using the Audacity Software which is a free software for PC. And If you want to sound more professional, you can add a Pop Filter to it, there is a gap to fit a filter to its stand. been using it for 2 years now quality is good, design can be better .. looks aesthetically good but has usability concerns - good mic, did not face any issue but the direction should be right on your mouth else people complain you not being audible - software to manage hardware is not that great, very basic - would love to have physical mute switch - occupies lot of space, I use it on monitor that doesn't have height adjustment .. it obstructs view to see bottom part of screen - cannot rotate the mic to adjust direction, rotates with stand, which causes issue as it keeps hitting my keyboard

I’ve been using this microphone for hours and all I can say is it was pretty much worth every penny. I’m gonna basically make this a subjective Pros and Cons review. First off, the Pros, it really is a professional quality microphone that gives you a clear and crisp sounding voice (most evident when making podcasts/voice-overs/livestreams etc.). The microphone only has the Cardiod voice pickup pattern, meaning it would only pick up sound in front of the microphone (remember this is the Snowball Ice, if you want additional voice pickup patterns such as an omnidirectional pattern, I suggest you buy the regular Snowballs or the Blue Yeti). Now, about the make; it’s build is actually pretty sturdy, the outer shell of the microphone is made up of a very heavy duty type of plastic which gives you the “it’s gonna last a long time” feeling. For 40 bucks this really is the best microphone you can get considering the price, if you can shell in a bit more you could even get the Blue Yetis but preferably if you are starting livestreaming like me, the blue snowballs are a great starter microphone. Oh, and another thing, this is extremely easy to setup, it is literally just what the box says: “plug and play” just make sure that the input device is set to the Blue Snowball microphone. And now for some Cons, the mic stand it comes with...oh dear lord, all I can say is that it’s pretty much garbage, it gives you limited adjustment and it keeps sliding, preventing you from obtaining an optimal position for your microphone; given this I would suggest also buying a microphone boom arm mount for your desk. Another thing I want to point out is the fact that this microphone can pickup plosives (those popping/distorting sounds microphones usually pickup when one pronounces ‘P’s or other loud consonants) really easily, so I might suggest getting a pop filter as well. Summary: all in all, this microphone can pretty much float your boat in almost any aspect, it’s cheap price should not fool you as it’s quality definitely does not reflect the low price. Highly recommended!

I am pleasantly surprised by this mic. The sound that comes out of it is definitely top quality in spite of its small price and weird presentation. It will without a doubt, make a significant impact on your recordings and is all around a solid first mic to own. My use is primarily online lectures on Teams and it does so very well. It has a low noise floor but it does pick up my computer's fans. There are ways to mitigate this even in real time so it's no big deal (I do use Nvidia Broadcast which is not something everyone can have access to). The build quality is better than I expected. It's still plastic but it feels surprisingly sturdy and dense. The included tripod feels a bit flimsy but settles under the weight of the mic and should do the job well. It's very much a no-hassle, plug and play mic. Even unedited, it sounds great. I truly love the functionality this brings for the price. However, I do hope the first unit I got, which was defective, is not a harbinger of future headaches.

Ele não vai filtrar sons de fundo perfeitamente, não vai deixar de captar sons ao redor, e não possui controle de ganho, ou mesmo botão de silenciar, então é um microfone extremamente simples, mas é simples de montar e de usar, não precisa de nenhum tipo de preparação, vem com um tripé de qualidade (que só possui uma posição), e a rosca do microfone é um modelo padrão apropriado para a maioria dos suportes. O melhor é o custo em comparação a outros microfones, porque não é caro demais e tem uma qualidade excelente. Para qualquer coisa além de serviços profissionais de som, esse é o melhor microfone do momento.

This microphone is really value for money, for 3 reasons - 1) the sound quality is excellent (I use it to record presentations and media content as well as for zoom meetings, 2) so easy to set up - literally plug it in and immediately use - nothing to download, no settings to toggle with, everything is automatically detected and the mic can be used in all programs. No need for changes to any settings, 3) good build quality - the device is solid and feels like it will last a long time. My friend who recommended this to me has been using hers for 2 years without a single hitch
