This indoor camera is easy to set up and has good picture quality. For connectivity is great and instantly connected to my home Wi-Fi but brightness and zoom capability are great. Also. The functionality of this indoor camera is amazing with lots of different settings which you can do to set up in your own home.

Great for the money, links to the app really easily, though be sure not to use a VPN when doing it or it could block it. The privacy button closes the lens so you can have absolute privacy if you need it. The video quality is good, better than the c100/c110 for sure, but without actual zoom, the picture falls apart when digital zoom is used. I have a couple of them now and will add to that.

The image quality is good, however none of the settings in the app stick and severely let down by the app. The app is pretty shoddy by todays standards for menu and settings access. Not intuitive. Everytime I open the app some setting that I selected has changed (frame rate, privacy, distortion correction....). A recent motion alert kept playing a video from several hours earlier (as seen in the attached pic) with a timestamp of 13:30 and a motion alert of 20:50. App has bugs. And despite advertised as not needing a subscription (why I bought it) I am plagued with adverts and screens for cloud subscription. Money not well spent.

So I wanted a small camera with a large horizontal FOV to look out a window. This camera has done the job very well. There is so much to like about this camera/software and it all just works. The only downside is the 2K/4MP which most companies moved beyond some time ago. If this camera was 5MP or better 8MP then I would have given it 5 starts. I hope, in future Tapo produce a version of this camera which is all the same just with more pixels. I have had this for a month and it records 8am-8pm constantly and it has only used 100GB of the memory card! The thing that really stands out with this camera is the Field of View (FOV) which is 120° horizontal using a 2.45mm lens. Compare this to most cameras out there which have FOV of 80-100° horizontal and it makes a big difference. But clearly with such a big FOV and only 4MP you are not going to be able to digitally zoom in without losing quality.

The Tapo C125 is a fantastic option for a RTSP local network baby monitor with 940nm (less red glare). Positive: Inexpensive camera with RTSP, good resolution and 940nm illuminator. Once on boarded in the app and enabling RTSP, it can be blocked from reaching the internet and still works as a local baby monitor, preserving your family's privacy. Good build quality. Negative: you need to install and register with the app at least once. Cloud streaming from tapo times out at 5minites unless there is direct connectivity between camera and phone (not a problem if you plan on using the RTSP functionality). Bulky charger with 9V barrel connector. Conclusion: best overall option I could find for a non-cloud baby monitor that enabled me to monitor my child from the computer when working with headphones.

I got this for my bedroom as I live in shared accommodation and I have a few valuable items. The camera quality is really good for the price. I can access the camer whenever as long as I have Internet on both my phone and camera. It gives me a lot of comfort knowing my items are safe while I'm working. It was easy set up and with the SD card I don't have to pay foe a subscription which I like. Nightvision is incredible as well which massively helps in the darker nights

I love this camera. It's sleak and looks very neat on my front window sill. The images are very clear and it has a wide field view.
