Unisex's C4 Protek Max Inner Tube

I’ve been using these tubes for many years now and they are the best tubes you can buy I think. Never had a puncture with them and if they have been penetrated then they have sealed themselves with no problems. I thought I had a dud one once but it was the valve inner that had come loose so it’s worth buying a valve tool to tighten them now and then. These tubes keep their pressure for months and months unlike any other tube, even if the bike has not been riden. Yes they are a bit heavier but you have piece of mind knowing you’ve got the best tube in your tyre.

First use, tube seems thicker than used previously, which supports the resealing theory, certainly unusual surface pattern/structure. Settled easily in the tyre when fitting and so far is holding pressure very well. Using 85psi with Michelin Protek Max 1.85 tyre and very happy in initial use. Does not recommend patching which I did not appreciate, though resealing / repairing theory should eliminate this anyway. Happy cycling, :-)

Don’t waste money on these. No better than a cheap tube. Punctured from a v small thorn even with added tyre liner. Because of knobbly surface they don’t take a patch as well as smooth tubes. Sealant doesn’t activate like Slime. Worst of all, having fixed puncture it deflated straight away because of a faulty valve. Absolute rubbish and added to all these issues they have poor rolling quality

Great tubes once fitted, quite fiddly to insert especially into the 2.0 tyres I’m using but once fitted they’re very competent and gives me more confidence when on the bike knowing I’ve got a premium set of inner tubes with added protection onboard. Some may argue they’re a little heavy, but in reality the weight change is the equivalent of cycling with a bar of chocolate in your pocket. I’m not going to stress over that given the added benefits these inner tubes add 👍🏻

Super chambres à air qui sont très renforcées et anti creuvaison. Montées il y a quelques temps, pour l'instant rien à redire.

I've used these for a very long time, the last set lasted 8 years. I got a new set 10 months ago and the valves died and the tubes no longer hold any air. They are made in a different country now and are not made under the same standards anymore. Under no circumstance do I recommend these anymore.

Pretty bad quality

Un'alternativa ottima al tubeless... non riuscendo a pomparla più, l'ho smontata sgonfia per accorgemene che aveva già subito 11 forature... che altro si può pretendere. A volte si trova un po' sgonfia... vuol dire che ha subito una foratura e autoriparandosi ha perso un po di aria. Si pompa e avanti. Una volta mi è capitato che la valvola si bloccasse per lo slime.... sostituita la parte intercambiabile e nuova vita a la camera d'aria. Perché funzioni l'autorizzazione la ruota deve girare, altrimenti lo slime non va nelle forature.
