Just removed this after 4 years of proper use and now back to stock. i will get though pros and cons of this filter along with my journey with this filter. Bike: APACHE RTR 180 Initially when installed this filter, it was performing better, and according to air flow i need to do some adjustments with carb also to get flowing more fuel and jet mods. after those modifications it worked like charm. but those benefits were not so much and come with price. I always used K&N Re-charger kit for cleaning. Pros: - Sound will improve but you will get bored with it after sometime. - Slight increase in pickup - if you modify jets (!! which is risky) then it has benefit on Top-End speeds (above 7k rpm) but eventually it will heat your engine. Cons: - You need to clean it with K&N re-charger kit every 2500 kms and less than 2000 kms if you live in dusty area. - Engine oil burns faster as this filter cause engine to heat more frequently (High air intake and Fuel) - Damages piston if pores of filter gets widen and dirt will be pulled easily into engine. - after use of 1-2 years you will feel like your bike is pulling hard to get moving. (as filter will not able to filter so much and start damaging internals) That's it, its just fun to have it but definitely not worth to keep it for long time. even after maintenance it is not lasting more then 2 years, and why i used it for 4 years because i was already having one bought from local after i bought from amazon. so i wasted 2 filters and came to realize that it has now started damaging my engine and engine oil is burning heavily after that so now i am back to stock and can feel bike is now more relaxed and cool. you will still need to spend on reverse those changes which you done initially for fitting k&n.

Best air filter in the world for Bajaj Avenger 220cc. Very simple to install in any bike. After installation bike performance is great - 1. Initial pick goes up 2. All kind of vibration has gone away at any speed. 3. you can feel the smoothness of engine. 4. If you are live in dusty area then it will be harmful for engine. K&N give life time warranty only for name. This item is harmful for your bikes because there sheld rubber broken after only 1 month of use and dusty air directly go in my bike’s engine which creates a huge problem in my bike(engine creating so much noise and vibration, spark plug and fuel injector was damaged because of dusty air goes inside engine)

Bike feels powerful and easily overtakes cars with no stress and vibrations on engine. I receieved the product next day without selecting Prime option, prompt delivery. Had to cut stock grills inside air filter box No difference in sound once box is closed, however it feels better and good throttle response, reaches 0 to 100 easily in less time So far so good but im only concerned that since it allows more air it shouldnt damage anything inside the engine or should not attract more dust into the engine, but i guess k&n was invented keeping dust n mud conditions...

This is an original k&n product and you can feel its genuinity once you install it. Made the sound more throaty in a good way, had a slight difference on milage and made a huge difference in acceleration and pick up. I barely have to twist the throttle before my bike shoots out of the corner aggressively. Most importantly it gives you more confidence over your machine.

So I received it and it looks to be original considering the package and labels. Unfortunately, It's mentioned that there is an oil included which i didn't receive. Will install it and probably put an additional update post atleast 2000kms of use. Hope it fits correctly for my 200ns. Hoping for a boost from my previous conical since my bike is tuned and the carb being upjetted.

These fit perfectly and give good air flow. And look great. Too expensive though,in my opinion. I also bought a set on ebay for a quarter the price. Slightly smaller,i admit, but as good a quality in my opinion. K&N makes quality products I admit. But for 84 bucks? I'd have happily paid half that. But if they last for 5 years, ir so, it'll be fine.

The two pictures show how it was advertised compared to how it came. Just about big enough for a scooter perhaps, but not a car.
