I have been buying this product (and others by The Whole Truth) since a year at supermarkets, and when it no longer was available there, I turned to Amazon.It has zero sugar added and is date-sweetened. No artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols or jaggery. Tastes like heaven. As someone who gets stomach/health issues because of what she eats, I'd say this is super safe. The safest. I'd buy this again anyday.Tips:Keep it away from excessive heat (long durations). [but still is safe and edible. tried and tested, and is okay. didn't cause any problem]Keep a toothbrush/toothpaste closeby (the protein bar is worth it 100%).

I actually came across this brand at a local super mart but I bought it off amazon because of the better pricing. I recently contracted diabetes and had to drastically change my diet and that meant protein bars with added sugar had to go. This one advertised no sugar and only natural ingredient flavour, I have tried that type before unhappily so I thought why not try this and that turned out to be one of my best decisions. At first taste, I felt nervous because it is quite sweet and tasty (surprisingly) but it never spiked my blood sugar because the sweetness comes from natural ingredients which have fibre in them so they actually make my body work to digest thus aiding in insulin production (things I researched later). To top it off, it helped control sudden hunger pangs because it is full of nuts and protein powder. This is the sort of bar that special military forces use on missions where they can't cook, full of energy, protein and fibre.ConsOnly one but it isn't a deal breaker. The constitution of this bar is extremely fragile, you cannot eat from the wrapper without causing breakage and scattering of pieces, you need something large to contain it's breakage so that you don't waste it and litter your surroundings. This isn't a big deal if you are slightly mindful. This is probably because they don't use sodium to bind their ingredients which every other protein bar out there does, thus making this bar a healthier option already.
