Unfiltered: The Sunday Times bestseller from the F1 sensation, as seen on Netflix’s Drive to Survive

I will read anything written by Guenther Steiner. His books never fail to make me laugh. I read the first one, so of course I had to read this one too. They are so incredibly interesting and I really enjoy his insights into motorsports.

A great read for any F1 fan! The origins of the Haas f1 team are explained, without it getting too boring before Guenther goes into detail with each of the seasons. From the highs of double points finishes to the lows of the team languishing at the back of the grid, all written in Guenthers trademark style. It also explores some of the more candid behind the scenes politics, like the impact of covid and how the drivers helped or hindered the team in some cases. We also learn of the breakdown in the relationship between Guenther and Gene, without it coming off as a bitter war of words from a disgruntled former employee.

As English is not his first language it can be difficult to understand him at times but the content is very interesting......

A must for any F1 fan, if you’ve watched the Netflix TV Series ‘Drive To Survive’ you’ll be aware of Guenther and some of his classic off the cuff remarks or quotes. He might not have learnt English at school but the author of this book certainly did. .

I recently read Guenther Steiner's first book Surviving To Drive and planned to check this one out at some point too. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it to be both funny and fascinating in equal measure. If you liked Surviving To Drive then you'll love this one, I can't recommend it highly enough!

You know what you get from Gunter, he says it as he sees it.

This is one of two books about Guenther and I want more!... I loved every page, it's such a pity there's only two books to enjoy.
