great
nice little mp3 player. the battery will last about 2 days of straight playing if you do not play around on it the whole time. the bluetooth never gave me any problems and i love how small it is. it works well and is very easy to understand. it is very small so it is easy to haul around.

Great little MP3 Player
I found that the Majority MP3 with sports clip is a great little player that outshined many others on the Amazon MP3 list. Good sound quality, good storage, clip function, sturdy AUX and headphone port, functionality, and price range. I use it plugged into car stereo daily and works great. I'm glad I found this player. I used Sandisk Clip players for years and they are no longer made, this product is as close to that I have found. I'd recommend trying this Majority MP3 player as well and see for yourself.

Not the MP3 player you want
So I really wanted to like this, but it's just not a good device. The interface/menus are beyond counter-intuitive, the battery life is nowhere near its claimed 34 hours, it times out/shuts off no matter how you set the power/display/screen saver options. The only good thing I can say for it is the resume function works, but OTOH a lot of the times you accidentally go to the wrong menu and end up starting the file over any way, so let's say the resume function *sort of* works. I don't care about Bluetooth so can't comment on that, but really, how hopeful could you be about that working reliably? This thing is a mess, and it's a shame, because my old Clips' batteries are basically dead, and replacing them is beyond my capabilities, and I want a decent replacement for them.

better than Agptek A65
This review compares the Majority MP3 GO and the Agptek A65 music players, which I purchased at the same time. I was using the Sansa Sport Clip Plus , which still plays music, but the clip broke after several years and the Bluetooth did not work well with either the TOZO NC9 Bluetooth Earbuds or TOZO A1 Bluetooth Earbuds , which I bought specifically to use with a music player. Based on specs on Amazon and on the products' websites the A65 and GO were the most similar music players that had the functionality I desired, which was: worked with the TOZO's; played a variety of music files; had compact, portable design for gym / exercise (I do not use my phone for storing and playing music); decent sound; easy / learnable navigation; useful functions. I've used both players with both sets of earbuds for over a week at the gym and outside; these are my main findings: 1. Despite the Agptek having Bluetooth 5.3 while the Majority has 5.0, the latter seemed to work better. Especially outdoors, sometimes the Agptek's Bluetooth connection would stutter when the player was in my shorts pocket (it'd be fine if clipped to my shirt collar). The Apgtek's Bluetooth range is reported as 30' so it definitely underperformed. I don't know the Bluetooth range for the Majority, but rarely did it cut out when in my shorts pocket either outside or inside. 2. The Majority does feel a bit more cheaply made, but I didn't like that the Agptek showed fingerprints more. 3. The sound was the comparable and satisfactory for my needs for both players (don't have high expectations...they're $30 players) and had various EQ settings. 4. I reload music (and by default charged somewhat) daily so I don't know if the products' claims for charging speed or playback time are accurate, but they've been sufficient for my use. 5. Some customers reported players that were DOA, stopped working, wouldn't recognize files, or wouldn't pair with Bluetooth headphones or speakers; I haven't had these issues (I will update this review if that changes). I didn't find the right arrow = down / left arrow = up navigation on the Majority a dealbreaker as it was easy to learn (even if not the most intuitive). The manual print for both is small but there's probably an online version; I used a magnifying glass. I haven't used the included earbuds for either but, like with the sound, expectations should be kept low. 6. In shuffle mode the Agptek repeats songs in randomized order once all songs have been played, whereas the Majority stops after the playing the shuffled songs once. I much prefer the way the Majority shuffled. 7. I tried the recording function on the Majority and was impressed with the playback clarity. The Agptek has this capability, too, but I didn't test it. 8. The Majority has animations for some of the function screens, which looks cool (if not unnecessary); the graphics on the Agptek are more basic. 9. Agptek has a 1 year warranty while Majority has a 3 year warranty. I decided to keep the Majority and return the Apgtek because of the Majority's longer warranty, non-looping shuffling, and more stable Bluetooth connection with my earbuds. I would've preferred having dedicated up, down, left, and right buttons and a less plastic-y feeling unit, but these weren't dealbreakers. The Agptek has more features so if you want a pedometer, radio, or the ability to play videos or view photos, it may be a better choice. And of course, if whatever earbuds you use work better with one or the other, that may be the deciding factor.

The Best MP3 player
Love it! I bought 2. I don't take my phone to the gym floor for wireless sound or instructional videos on working out. I just want my date with my playlist artists to pump me up with my stereo wire headphones. I NEED certain songs for certain workout and dance moves. The menus on the player are clear to read and in alphabetical order - storage of music is on an SD card I have. It also has a stopwatch, a voice recorder, a separate storage space for music, a clock so I can see what time it is and the battery lasts about 4 hours. Perfect. The best MP3 player I've had in a while.

plusses and minuses
Pros- -price -ear buds fit and stay put in my ears better than any other I have ever owned -charges fast Cons- -the ear buds sound a bit shallow, tinny -The menu navigation is NOT intuitive. You need to press left and right to negotiate up and down. I figured it out, but it wasn't automatic -The biggest minus for me was that it doesn't remember where I was when I shut it down. I use mine to listen to podcasts and music. Sometimes I have to shut down in the middle of a podcast. This makes it so I have to remember which one I was in the middle of and then FF to the point I was.

Barely acceptable. Don't settle for this piece of junk
HORRIBLE user interface. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Absolutely obnoxious process to navigate around and tell it what to do. There is no button to jump back to "now playing" which means that JUST TO PAUSE THE SONG, you have to navigate all the way through each layer of selection you went through to get back to it. That is totally idiotic. The menus arent fast to get through in the first place, there is a little delay after you hit enter to navigate to the next layer in the menu every time. The player does not automatically re-pair to the last bluetooth device used. The battery life is not as advertised, it is nothing like the Tiger clip mp3 players that last forever. The only reason I got this one is because it's expandable with SD card, but even that feature it's very clunky to use. Also if you have the same mp3 file copied onto the device's storage AND the SD card's storage, that file won't show up in EITHER of the menus, so you can't play it! ALSO, the bluetooth transmission strength is extremely poor. There is constant crackling, stuttering and cutting-out even if it's right next to the receiving speaker. It is honestly ridiculous that they even sell this piece of crap on here. UPDATE: Never before have I edited a review but I remembered another terrible flaw with this machine. Namely, it cannot recognize/play MP3s that have album art.

Works Great!
This product easily loaded the 327 mp3 songs I had on my Mac from Apple Music using the supplied usb connector. Pairing my newly purchased earbuds really provided great sound and the charge is lasting much longer than previous equipment. It also easily paired with my WorkTune outside headset which I use for mowing. There was something in the instructions which stated it only accommodated 3 playlists with 100 songs each, but I just loaded all 327 songs without creating playlists. Excellent product for the cost.

Great value for money
PROS: - Value for money - Lightweight and small - Clip for use without pockets - Wireless capability - Battery life - Hold switch - Artist / Album view or Folder view CONS: - Limited playlist ability - Delay after deactivating Hold switch - Default EQs Review: This small, lightweight MP3 player is brilliant value for money. It has good native storage space for a secondary music player or someone who doesn't have a large library, and the ability to extend up to very large amounts for those who do. The battery life seems massive, the notch hasn't even moved and I've used it for hours now. You can either place your music into the parent folder, and use the built-in artist/album view to browse your music by artist or album, or you can pre-load the device with your own custom folders and the "Folder view" will allow you to listen to just those folders. There is a playlist creation function, but it seems limited to only 3 playlists and creating them is a little tedious - you have to search through by song, meaning there's no sorting easily, and the device must start playing the song to get to the "add to playlist" option, which is a little tedious if you're listening while trying to create one. The way around this is to use the folder view as I stated, and pre-make your playlists this way, however this does mean you can't have the same song on two playlists if you do it this way. There's also an EQ, but the presets are quite hot, to my ears, boosting the low and top end a little too much for my liking, however you can create custom ones to get around this. The Hold switch is useful so you don't press buttons when it's in your pocket, but turning it off takes a second before you can press buttons again, so if you just want to adjust the volume or skip a song it's a little wait. There's also a calendar, stopwatch, and pre-selected wallpaper options, which I didn't find useful but someone else might. All-in-all, it's a great little MP3 player for those who want to go back to the days of owning your music and having it separate from your phone, and I'll be using it daily I'm sure.

Lasted 6 months
I bought it in December and it stopped working by June. Just wouldn’t switch on. Disappointed. Can’t figure out how to contact the seller.
