One of the best solutions without expensive permanent installations
I chose to get this filter rather than the standard filter that came with my pitcher. It works slower, hopefully better. No taste or smell after the first two rinses. I hope it gets all the crud in the water!

Excellent quality water filter!
Epic water filters and other products (pitcher) were recommended for the water quality of the area I live in and they are a great choice. Best water filter I've ever used. Love their recycle program.

Quite Happy
We purchased the Epic Water container over 2 years ago, purchasing replacement filters as recommended. We are able to count on delishious purified water with no microplastics. We're quiet happy with the system.

Great filter
I love this filter. I only drink water, coffee or tea. I wanted a good filter system because my city water is the worst and I don't want to buy plastic bottle water. Since I started using this system my water taste great and sometimes better than store bought. I know the filter is pricey but it is worth the taste and health benefits.

Different shape. Different instructions
These are different than the original ones I got. Not as easy but seem to work well once you go through the proper steps

Tasteless water filter
Easy installation for my Epic water tank and last for months. There is a digital count down that shows when we need to change the filter. Even though we can drink the tap water in our area it's great to filter it just in case. We keep a tank cold in the fridge and there is no taste at all.

eco-consciousness with no regard for human element
the filters are good but the company is poorly run and even the best product in the world cannot make up for a business model that seeks short term profits at the expense of customer retention. Epic is notorious for its inability to fulfill recurring orders (subscriptions) and its utter refusal to answer for it. its customer service is either given no information or explicitly trained to use stalling tactics before giving refunds. that was how they treated members of their clean water club or whatever they called it. at least on Amazon, the refund is automatic- but the thing is, you will not get your filters on a recurring basis. my guess is that subscription orders are lowest priority because they want new customers and those who subscribe will have to scramble to order along with everybody else. itโs a stupid way to run this type of business - theyโre not AT&T for crying out loud lol. and furthermore - just to add to what others have said about the pitchers and dispensers: they are so bad. like, BAD. itโs kind of hilarious how poorly designed they are given that theyโre literally just water dispensers and pitchers. itโs not even the filter fittings that fail - its the parts that dispense water lol! something that mankind basically perfected eons ago, this company is seemingly incapable of getting right and has not corrected despite years and years of customer complaints. a pitcher spout that somehow withstands the weight of water so it will not open, so it pours out the sides instead. or water dispenser spouts that leak all over your refrigerator or counter. these should be the easiest parts of their manufacturing process. there is no other company that makes such problematic water vessels - better functioning pitchers and dispensers can be found on clearance racks in walmarts and even dollar stores, so we know that itโs very cheap and easy to manufacture pitchers that pour easily and dispensers that donโt leak. but over several years and even a redesign, Epic will not get this right. mistakes happen but this type of incompetence is mindboggling given that this is a company that should be making most of its profits with its filters - which are great. but they place so many foolish roadblocks to the use and purchase of their filters that one wonders why they bother in the first place. and i never even used their filter bottles, but they apparently managed to create a nightmare out of what was a very popular item - i wanted to try one, but i happened to be looking just as they were transitioning from offering two different filters - one for general day to day use with tap water and another that was meant for water that may come from more questionable sources such as in outdoor situations - to a single type of filter that can be used in any situation. thatโs great - i would have been very happy with that given that my circumstances, which is why i have been a big fan of the nano filter for a number of years. the problem is that the bottles are not free flowing - if you have ever used something like Life Straw, those are extremely difficult to draw water from, you have to suck very hard to get water through it and that is not possible for the vast majority of day to day water bottle users. at the time, i was dealing with a few dental issues and i could only imagine how excruciatingly painful it would be trying to drink from those bottles. even without the dental problems - nobody wants to have to work that hard to get a sip of water while driving or while at work or really in any day to day scenario. and while their reasoning had to do with environmental impact, it made no sense because their innovation was misused. they could have designed something that was easy to use but instead, they designed something that casual day to day water bottle users already did not use for a reason. the innovation should have focused on ease of use rather than streamlining. they wanted to use more eco-friendly materials and design but they failed miserably at making it usable by human beings - who are now using something else that is probably not as eco-friendly. and throughout all of this, the company has said nothing. it has never once addressed any of these issues. they do not respond to any criticisms. everything we know comes from company announcements of redesigns. there are the rare industry awards and niche publications that include company statements but theyโre nothing more than marketing/public relations releases. it would appear that Epic is designing their products, not for the customer base, but more for their industry peers, maybe? but thereโs also a naked capitalist component to their practices that makes everything so much worse. itโs a shame because we are seeing the collapse of water infrastructure right before our eyes, we are becoming aware of the impact that irresponsible industries have had on our water and what those contaminants do to our bodies, and Epic created something that gives us peace of mind, for time being, and the hope would be that theyโd invest their profits into technology that can evolve with the pace of civilizational development, but for whatever reason, they are not doing things that way.

Epic Water Filter - a must for every household
I have been purchasing this for years but stopped in a while as its price rises up quickly. But because I need to drink clean and healthy water, buying this is better.
