Update (16-Dec-2019)Two days back the chair again started giving problem. Lot of noise. When seated, it was tilting towards left and right. Felt like I will fall anytime. Eventually the screws which locks the gas chamber rod came out and luckily I was not seating on it that time.Finally called the local repair guy and I had to completely replace the below titling assembly, new screws and bolts etc. Costed couple of bucks within 3 months of this chair. So it's definitely not good chair. I am going to avoid Furniture purchase from online including Amazon.Update (19-Oct-2019)Around 15-Oct-2019, I called Apex Customer Care number (9811001822) and complained about my problem. The customer care number is mentioned on Apex Industries page on Amazon and not on product page. So go look there. The attendant asked me to upload a video of a problem to the same WhatsApp number which I did. The next day, I received a call from their engineer who understood my problem by looking at the videos I uploaded.He immediately shipped me new set of wheel base and 4 sets of new wheels along with the explanatory video to remove existing base and re-install the new one.Today (19-Oct-2019), I received the same shipment and I could re-install the base and it seems my problem is fixed now. Wheels are rotating properly and chair right side inclination alignment issue seems to be gone.Note: They did NOT charge me anything for this new wheel base and new set of wheels.I am now extremely happy with their post-update services. Keep it up Apex team. Thank you very much.----------------------------Update (2nd Oct 2019):- The chair has become uneven, the left side part is higher than right side part. so, whenever I sit now, the chair is tilted which is not comfortable at all----------------------------older:-Received the chair just now and writing this review sitting on top of it. The amazon delivery is as always great. The box came with 4 separate parts and a small toolkit. The parts include the wheel base, gas kit with three cup shaped covers, chair base and chair back. The small toolkit contains L shaped screw driver and Nut tightener. I looked at the YouTube video on Apex Chair channel and could fix the chair. However, when trying to fix the back of the chair, I faced bit of difficulty as the position of the bolts and the holes on the back were not matching perfectly so I had to hammer them a little bit to bring them into a position where the back of the chair then fixes perfectly and I could tighten up the nuts provided. That took me almost 20 mins of sweaty efforts.The chair is comfortable, wheels are sturdy and can be moved 360 easily. The support is great everywhere around the neck, the back and joint. The arms are fixed but wide giving good comfortable position to rest. Overall it's a great deal for me.

Chair is overall good, comfortable. Seller has provided one socket spanner for nut and one Allen key along with the chair for installation. Chair comes in 4 major part- 1. Seat 2. Seat Back 3. Wheel Base 4. Chair Base support & Gas Lift. Installation manual is also provided which is quite easy to read and understand. Assembly is not a big task, one need to unfasten the nuts and allen, put parts together and fasten them. However on the Seat Back part, slot provided for nuts is not perfect, you may find difficult to tight fully with Socket Spanner provided as Base plastic obstruct its movement inside the slots. So you may need to adjust and tight with plier or open end spanner I manage with tilting the socket spanner and get the job done. I have added photograph of the back and one can see polish eroded due to spanner movement inside the groove.Writing this review while seating on the chair.. Chair is budget friendly and good looking. Back support is good however i found head rest is very loose, if i push my head onto it .. it goes backward and nothing to tighten the position. Also height of head rest can be adjusted by push button.Overall chair is good, value for money and one can buy it if not looking for fancy chair and wanna get the work done.

All human made stuff breaks and services are then subscribed to fix those breaks while warranty/guarantee are some pre-insured instruments that mostly have a painful cycle. My chair also had a problem, may-be this problem occurs for one in thousands, but, the important aspect is that Apex chairs support staff were able to isolate the problem and replace the chair respecting the commitment of 1 year warranty. In my view, this was a good behavior exhibiting customer centricity and don't think I could have asked for anything more. Thankful for Apex chairs (MD Pulkit) for making this move. I would definitely buy as this is one of the most needed tools while most of the desk workforce is working from home.

The chair is strudy and very much comfortable. Also, it is easy to assemble. It is been 11 months since I bought the chair. It is still good and intact. I use it daily for more than 10 hours. After 3000 hours of usage, the centre iron plate is cracked. But I got the free replacement immediately.Also, the customer support is really good. The warranty claims are very easy and simple. It is enough to send an email and they called me and sent the replacement spare part immediately.

I wasnt expecting great material quality, but I am disappointed by how negligent a product manufacturer can be. The slots for screws dont align properly and I had to force some screws thru. The seat cushion is not exactly level and it feels like its going to to tilt to one side at anytime and its out of shape which makes the chair look not just cheap, but even badly made.If I had the option, I would return this chair. But I only see an option to replace. In any case to return it I would have to unscrew all the screws and then again I am sure the replacement I will get will also put me thru the same and I would have to spend additional time just putting it together while still having to put up with a unsatisfactory experience seeing and using it.

If you are looking for a product with good finishing and high quality parts then this chair is not for you.If you are looking for a chair with headrest under 5000 and you can do away with very low quality of parts and manufacturing standards then you can buy this chair because this is only chair with a headrest under 5000.Overall I would not recommend to buy this chair because you won't get the same amount of satisfaction as compared to a chair that has good quality parts.Pros:-ergonomic chair with headrest under 5k-adjustable back support fitted in the mesh-headrest is also adjustable and resistance can be tightenedCONS:- Very low quality parts except the sear and backrest- Manufacturing precision is not there, u will face difficulty in installing it- The base is of plastic, will not be durable, also it is so light that it will not provide proper chair movement on the floor- You will get a number of scratches on a new chair
