This is a good size bag for the price. I was able to get all the plants I wanted repotted and still have some left. I added it to the soil to help with my cactus and bonsai tree. My plants are healthy now with this added.

I want to love it, but I dread opening it because of all the fine particles clouds if I'm not careful. It does the job in adding air pockets to my soil and making my plants happy, so no complaints on functionality.

I use a lot of perlite (60% potting soil + 40% perlite) and this brand has the best particle size for my indoor houseplants … meaning not large chunks. Most bags have a few cups of dust, but it’s nothing compared to other brands like Miracle Gro. Some are significantly cheaper but you’re paying for dust. I wouldn’t bother. For me this brand is worth it. My plants love it.
