So far so good. The desk was pretty easy to put together but did take some time. The desk did require 2 people at some steps. I think it took us about 2 hours to put the desk together. I left the having off of the drawer and cabinet to allow for wires. Also didn't install the shelf so there would be room for my computer tower and battery backup. My husband put the filing cabinet together by himself. It took a couple of hours and he said it was kind of a pain in the butt due to small screws and many parts. When putting everything together I did not notice that the surface scratches easy, which was a complaint I saw in the reviews before I bought it. Also, both pieces are antique white, not gray. This was another complaint I saw in the reviews. I do plan to always use a coaster though to avoid rings and warping. The desk and filling cabinet are sturdy and all drawers open and close nicely without any banging. I only installed hanging files in the upper drawer of the filing cabinet. I plan to use the bottom drawer for storage. I hope this review helps. I read them all before purchasing.

This was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together and the instruction manual was perfect.The packaging labeling of all the hardware and the labeling of all the individual wood pieces was exactly as instructed. Everything fit perfectly. Recommend laying everything out before getting started. Keep all the hardware and it's bags with the labeling because not everything is used at once but they do an excellent job of labeling and pictures in the instruction manual.Only tools I used were a Phillips screwdriver a slotted screwdriver and a Philips head power drill. All together it took me about two and a half hours to put it together and no frustration whatsoever. LolDefinitely will be looking to purchase from this company in the future and highly recommend this manufacturer.

Ordered this for my daughter's room. It took a while to put together, but if you follow the instructions, it's not complicated. Each of the parts are labeled. It was challenging at first to realize that the part #'s do not match exactly to the instructions, but the last few digits do. My husband started the assembly, and I finished it after he went to work. It was not hard to jump in to finish it.It seems to be a sturdy piece. I have also ordered the cube storage unit to match and am waiting for it to arrive. I like this desk specifically because it's open enough at the bottom for me to sit next to my daughter while working on assignments. We're not crowded there. I would love to see a matching hutch for it and will be keeping my eye out for it. It's a great color, and I am planning on painting the other furniture in my daughter's room to match. The antique white is like a very light beige/eggshell/light khaki with hints of white and grey grains in it.Hint when putting it together: Put it together in the room/near the space that you are going to place it after it's assembled.Overall, happy with the choice!

This desk looks great! I had the smaller version of this desk and upgraded, but decided to keep the smaller hutch and I love it. I’d really prefer to be able to buy a new smaller hutch(the 47 inch wide version) so it’s all new and crisp, but it wasn’t too hard to put together and it looks great!

I was skeptical about engineered wood furniture and the sturdiness of it, but have been pleased with the quality. Still not as nice as solid wood but the price is decent for this piece, and looks better than the folding table I was using :)Shipping packaging is very good, even with some damage to the outside box, no major damage to product. There are some small scuffs but not worth returning.Easy to assemble, just don’t over tighten the cams.I also purchased the matching accent storage cabinet and file cabinet. Same results- all sturdy items.

These Bush furniture pieces are so easy to assemble. I don't consider myself handy by any means and I assembled the L-shaped desk, lateral file, and book case entirely myself with a light hammer, phillips screwdriver and a pair of scissors.The book case came missing the plastic covers to conceal the cams and I just got off the phone with their customer service and it is EXCELLENT! These pieces are beautiful, well made (although very heavy) and gave my home office a professional look.Word of warning: You will need help getting the boxes into your house and opening them. (I think they use marine glue on them or something!) Also, they do scratch quite easily, so use care when assembling. I put a few scratches on mine by not realizing this in the beginning.

Sooo, I contemplated choosing a desk for about two weeks. I just got my house and needed something asap as I work remote.I couldn’t have asked for a better fit!!! This desk is perfect height and width, has plenty of leg room, the wood/particle board used is comparable to IKEA quality. It was a very heavy box, which was reassuring honestly. Assembled it by myself in just under an hour. There was absolutely no damage, and all the pieces were there!This is the first piece of furniture I’ve bought from Amazon, and idk if I got lucky, or just did enough research. But I would/will 100% but this again.

The directions were so easy to follow and all the pre-drilled holes were in the right place .So easy to put together and good quality.
