Fabulous tan in a small bottle.
This is a fabulous product. Anyone looking for a nice looking tan, look no further. This can be added to any lotion or moisturizer. Gloves are not needed. Just make sure to wash hands after with soap & water. It is super easy to use and my skin also feels soft. There is a slight smell - to me it smells like cucumbers, which is pleasant enough for me. You only need to apply to each area once. IE: whole arm, leg, torso, etc. I fill the dropper completely and add to the lotion in my hand. Be especially careful with feet. They don’t need much to have color and can so easily look orange. I do not use the whole dropper on my feet. I would put lotion or Vaseline around toenails to keep the cuticles from getting flooded with tanner and looking weird. I have found that applying twice a week is plenty. At first, I do 2 days in a row and if I like the color I wait two days before I apply again. Then I wait three days to apply again. It doesn’t seem to get on my clothes. It looks like a natural golden tan. I love it and use it on my face and entire body. It is a little bit sticky feeling, especially in the arm pits and where the arm bends. But it doesn’t last a super long time. I put it on in the morning usually. After several hours I notice the color. And at the end of the day I am amazed at how much color I have from just a little product. And I love that I can add to my lotion. It is a little pricey, but if you want to have a nice and natural tan, it’s cheaper than going to a spray on tan place. And the fact that it doesn’t turn my hands orange is awesome. I think a bottle could last a month, but if you apply several times a week, you may need a bottle and a half. So happy with this product. I already ordered more. And I will continue to use it, even in the winter months. It’s so nice to look tan.

These are fantastic! For face AND body!
GREAT FOR THE BODY, too!! This is my second purchase of these drops. I love them and here is why: it takes very few drops mixed with your moisturizer to obtain a natural tan. Because these are to be mixed with moisturizer and then applied, there are few to zero streaks. The bonus? These can be mixed with your body cream or lotion and be used that way too! 5 drops into my body cream covered one leg. For my whole body I think I used a total of 20 drops. I used a tanning brush to smooth it in and I woke up with a gorgeous, natural looking tan! It also lasted and can be repeated a couple of times a week. So much easier to apply these than using a big tanning bottle of cream or foam and finally no worries about streaks or uneven application. Just take your time making sure that your cream is evenly spread on your skin. Yes, some will rinse off after showering or washing your face, but plenty of color remains. This is it for me, and I can no longer see ever buying any other tanning product again. They have a good thing going with these drops and I hope that in the future they will figure out that these are just as great for the body and make a larger bottle. No need to purchase the “tanning water” separately for the body. These drops do it all.

Pros and cons, but overall I like it
I'd probably give it a little under a 4 but I rounded up. I don't even remember how I came across this but for some reason I got convinced to try it out. Here's what I think: Pros: 1. Customizable. You can decided how many drops you want to use. That means you'll have to experiment a bit to find your ideal amount but I really like being able to have some control over how dark or light it is. Start off low! I'm serious when I say start off using 4-5 drops. That provided more than enough color for me. 2. It fades nicely. I work out a lot so it's important that all the sweating doesn't cause weird splotching. That's happened with other products but not with this. UPDATE: It's actually been fading weird at the ankles. I scrub my ankles hard to try to get rid of that. Definitely cant use this on your feet and expect to wear heels. It's too obvious and I learned that the hard way. I use my mousse for that. Cons: 1. The smell. A distinct tanning smell. I really don't like it, but my b/f hasn't said anything yet so idk if he notices. I have been using St. Moriz for years and love that it has a very subtle smell. Just not the same with this. 2. Can't see it. That's generally not a problem since you're mixing it with a lotion. However, I have missed spots thinking I applied the lotion fully but didn't and then it becomes a very visible mistake. So you've got to pay attention and be thorough when apply this 3. Leaks on planes. I've been having issues with this when traveling. I'll screw the lid on tightly but product will leak out. I recommend placing it in it's own little bag within your liquid bag so it doesn't get everywhere. I had a big issue with this the first time I flew. It got all over in my liquid bag. Luckily because it's a strong smell, I realized it leaked. However, when I was cleaning everything out I got some on me. I thought I washed my hands thoroughly but I missed some spots around my wrists and forearm and visible dark spots for days. Overall, I do like using this product but it makes me nervous. I haven't used it on my face yet because I am worried about missing a spot and having it be super visible. Right now I continue to use St. Moriz on my upper body and use these drops on torso and legs since those spots are less visible. The two products match very closely in color so that's not a problem. UPDATE: It hasn't been going well around my ankles and feet so I am not going to bother trying around my face and hands. Too worried about it

You need this
I LOVE this product! I don’t think I can ever go back to any of my other tanning products after this one, and here’s why: 1. Scent. It smells really nice. Every single other tanning product I have used has a scent that I do not enjoy. IYKYK, they all just have “that” weird smell. Well, not this one. It actually smells good. 2. Moisturizing. You HAVE to mix this with a moisturizer because the actual product is a concentrated liquid (the directions even tell you it cannot be applied to skin directly without mixing with a moisturizer). Don’t know about y’all, but I always find other tanning products (especially mouse ones) to feel quite drying. Especially if you are using this on your face, I really like that it can be applied like a moisturizer. 3. There’s no color guard. Now, this might be a negative for some people, because most tanning products have a color guard added to them so that you can see how it is blending into your skin. Personally, I don’t like that. It just always feels icky and I hate that it transfers to clothes, sheets, etc. As you can probably see from the photos, this product is basically clear. No transferring of orange anywhere, and you don’t have to wash off anything like you do with one’s that have the color guard. 4. Customizable. As per the directions, you have to mix every 1/2 teaspoon of moisturizer with between 6-12 drops of tanner. I really like this because it means you can control how tan you want to be. More drops = darker tan. This is also really nice if you are applying to your face/neck and just want a very subtle glow. 5. Looks really nice on olive-toned skin. I have very olive skin (green-looking veins/green undertone). This tanner has more of an orange undertone, witch balances out my natural tanned skin really nicely.

Love this self tanner!
I wish I had known about this when it first came out! I was skeptical at first but it works like magic. All you have to do is put some moisturizer on your palm and add 1-2 drops of this magic liquid. Mix it well with both hands before applying to your face and neck. Make sure you cover all areas evenly including your hairline if you have a receding hairline. I left mine to develop overnight so I didn’t really time it but my skin looked really tanned and glowing the next morning. The tan covered the dark spots too. It didn’t wash off after a shower. By the way before you apply this make sure your face is clean. I did my nightly routine with cleanser, serum and moisturizer. I didn’t use my retinol or glycolic acid. I’ll experiment with it later on and give an updated review. I just used it this morning on my body and arms. Will update as well later. The smell isn’t so bad. Tolerable not like your usual self tanners.

Bottle goes really fast
Pros: 1. Easy to use and doesn't stain clothing or bedding as long as you wait about 20 minutes while naked before touching fabrics. However, it will stain your hands so you must wear gloves. Pro tip: apply plain lotion to the wrists and heal of your palms before putting gloves on. This will saturate your skin with lotion to prevent the drop's pigment from staining the skin where the glove's edge ends on your wrists. 2. Does work and color is accurate as far as a natural tan goes and not being orange at all. It is not immediate however, and I found it to take at least 4 hours to show any tan. 3. No smell, or really faint smell on skin, once mixed with body lotion and applied. This is a huge plus, as other pigmented self tanners all have a distinct smell that is hard to remove without also removing the desired tan. Cons: 1. The instructions do not advise ratio of lotion to drops. This is confusing to say the least since there is absolutely no reference on how many drops will produce however much color. I am a freckled caucasian with a very pale yellowish skin tone. I tan easily in sun. I live in Hawaii, although I don't go in the sun so I am not tan at all. In order to get even a slightly noticeable tan (USING THEIR DARK DROPS!) I had to use 8-12 drops per 2-3 small pumps of lotion. To give you a better idea of that ratio per body part....I pumped 2 small pumps the size of a nickel for each of my lower legs (under knee to feet) and added 8 drops, producing a barely noticeable tan. next attempt I used 12 drops with a better tan result. For the knee up to area where hem of underwear line would be, I pumped three pumps of lotion and added 12 drops for a better tan result. 2. I was only able to maintain a tan for about 8-10 days using this formula before the bottle was empty. I feel the cost/value isn't worth it for this product. At this rate, it wold cost me around $60 per month to maintain a tan. I am going back to my pigmented foaming self tanner. I recommend Skinerals ONYX EXTRA DARK sunless tanning mousse.

Gives a great glow
Great color and shouldn’t break you out. I have more pale skin and I think I could have done the medium shade instead of light. I usually do about 5-6 drops. My tips are to bring it down your neck, into your hair line and don’t forget the ears!! Also remember to wash your hands!! Lol

Works well and looks natural
Works well! I was tired of looking super pale in winter. Added 3 drops to my facial moisturizer. I exfoliated and then applied the moisturizer carefully. I like the result. Looks natural and I don’t look so pale anymore. 3 drops feels about right.
